How about many of us are just happy that a 1st round draft pick has played so well this season that he is getting called up to the majors at the age of 22? Im excited to see him play.....there are no guarantees.........you sure don't seem to get much enjoyment out of being a fan..........

Brewers aren't taking on Greinke's contract.....forget about it Ray would be nice....what do you have to give up to get him? Wanting somebody without factoring in cost is only half the equation.......Stearns would take Ray in a minute....but clearly the asking price has not gotten to an area that he is comfortable with.........it is his job to make those determinations.......not give AZ whatever they want to acquire him...... -

For those that thought Maddon should have left Lester in( I was one) And before anybody starts bemoaning the manager’s decision to take ace Jon Lester out after seven scoreless innings at 94 pitches, it was Lester — who has battled a flu bug all week — who told Maddon he was done. “I was gassed,” Lester said, his voice still raspy. “The sixth and seventh innings got to me.”

Our minor league system is now last ranked in the majors by BA. I think you need to explore all options........doesn't mean you do it......those guys are gone next year anyway and we aren't going anywhere with this starting staff as currently constituted . It will be an interesting few days.
