  1. I thought of him, but did he actually do that with the Brewers? Not sure if I actually remember that or if he just came to mind cause the 2009 team was such trash. Craig Biggio.....Charlie Moore! https://www.baseball-reference.com/blog/archives/7999.html
  2. Claudio must be wondering if he's been cut and nobody told him.....lol He hasn't pitched for like 3 or 4 games right? Unheard of!
  3. Another homer for Shaw...2 tonight...can't wait to see Moose at SS! I kid I kid.......sort of.....lol
  4. Again, to those who keep bringing this up. Where he gonna play? Moose been struggling a bit, maybe give Moose a break or platoon and ride the hotter one? Other wise your not sitting Huira for him. I mean I assume they are not that dumb. I'm glad Shaw is having success in the minors and the Brewers dont rush it and try and squeeze him in somewhere. Let him have a strong end to the month then re evaluate. He could play 1st...I mean Thames has been okay, but that's the logical spot to play Shaw, especially IF they somehow move Thames in a trade, and maybe that's Stearns's thought process. he was asked about Shaw a week or so ago and said "we'll find a spot for a productive player", but then wouldn't speculate as to how they'd find a place for him. He also HAS played a couple of games in his career in LF...granted it was awhile ago and it was a small sample size..but he's done it. Thames has been better then OK........
  5. Grisham has a 958 ops vs lefties this season. Much lower then against righties but I think he sees them ok....... I'm sure the Brewers are in no rush with him......this is his first season of hitting anywhere close to this level ..... .lets see if he can keep producing untill Sept....if so and Brewers are still in it he wou.d be worthy of a call up as a bat off the bench.
  6. Wilkerson is not going to start.......he is the definition of AAAA pitcher.....bullpen fodder for when we need a fresh arm.
  7. I'd rather have Houser start then Peralta........reality is we don't have a good option.
  8. Whatever magic Chacin had last year is long gone
  9. Lefties really getting good swings against Chacin
  10. I think that's doubtful That he makes it back or that he helps the pen? Both.....i don't think he will be ready to contribute this season.......he had an ACL injury.....that would be a very quick recovery
  11. Or we were 'lucky to have Hiura knock,in 2 runs last inning........either one
  12. Barker with 6 ks in 2 1/3 scoreless tonight
  13. Thames continues to do the job against righties
  14. Another homer for Grisham.......for those interested.
