I figured this would be the move but now confirmed Wish Payamps well……my guess is somebody will pick him up and I won’t be surprised if he figures it out again…….just couldn’t find consistency this season and the brewers needed the roster spot

Yes but it would have been stupid. I have seen estimates of MA’s net worth all over the place…….some say 700 million…..others 1.9 Billion. Either way he should be making payroll decisions based on revenues and not his personal net worth. That is how just about every owner that wants to run a successful….self sustaining business will do it. Unless there is a Steven Cohen type who is a Brewers fan and buys the team from him that is how it’s going to be. Ps We should also remember that Mark is just the principal owner…..not sole owner …he has partners to deal with……according to AI ….16 of them.
