THATS WHAT MVP'S DO!!!!
-
Hawkins instead of Saito?
-
wow 3 runs, 3 walks and 25 strikeouts in Yo's last 2 starts against the Phillies and the Reds..... Dominant
-
Yo is flat out nasty
-
So thats what its come down to? We have to give credit to Mcgehee for striking out? lol
-
ok.....3 runs almost seems like a good offensive game these days.......come on Yo....
-
2-0 phillies.....bases loaded 1 out
-
Yuni only has 20 some hrs to go.........
-
ok.....i'll take that.......=)
-
its amazing we are in first place with these 2 guys hitting 5 and 6 in our lineup....or even in the lineup given their level of play......
-
Playing with fire with that guy as our SS.........Can't you just see that kind of play happening in the playoffs followed by a 3 run homer?
-
Nice rally going.. a struggling pitcher.....patient at bats from Prince and Braunie and then.........Casey takes him off the hook by swinging at a 2-0 pitch at eye level and then Yuni pops up on the first pitch. 1-0....come on Yo put up a zero

Climbing up on the Anxiety Meter

Brewers miss Cueto which should be huge break but since we aren't hitting against anybody maybe it won't be................. -
Millwood's stuff is so ordinary and he is dominating us.........
-
Which team is supposed to be peaking for the playoffs right now? Man this is ugly........
-
Looks like we are going to need St Louis to cool off or this could get interesting(in a bad way). Our offense better figure things out in a hurry because 2 runs a game isn't going to get it done......
-
At some point or another the offense is going to have to start winning some games for us. Pitchers are going to struggle at times. They do know that its ok to score 7 or 8 runs from time to time right? I mean other teams do it..............

Gopher ball Marcum returns again........................

K-Rod unhappy he's not in closer's mix

I have no problem with his desire to close....I have a problem with him going to the media. Anyone who has ever played on a team knows that this kind of stuff should be kept in house....especially at this point in the season. -

Why say anything? By all accounts he has fit in well with the team but this is just mind-boggling to me.....Ax has been perfect...he was here before you...this isn't little league. In the middle of a pennent race you really want to put the focus on the fact that you haven't gotten any save opportunities? Really? How about this answer........"its not about me....its about the team....I'm happy to pitch in whatever role they need me and hopefully I'll get a chance to close again next year." -
this just feels like a loss.........
-
5 hits through 10 innings..................this is getting old
-
yep our offense has gone completely in the tank since the cardinal series. Lots of pressure on the pitching staff when you are only scoring 1 or 2 runs game.
-
We do have 3rd catcher......I'm ok with not doing it just asking.
