No reason for Braun to play Weds and risk injury if we have the 2 seed locked up. None of the starters should play in that scenario. -

So Braun doesn't play, Marcum is left in when he clearly doesn't have it and then we bring in a guy who hasn't pitched in a meaningful game all year in a game we need to win.......does that about cover it?

How do we know he is passive? He always struck me as tough and aggresive.

his location is off....everything is up in the zone. Nothing hit hard other then the homer and the fly to Morgan but those dink fly ball hits don't happen if you keep the ball down. Going to be tough to beat Morton if he gets 5 or 6 runs.

RR giving Braun the day off.........We are fighting for the 2 seed, he is our best player, we have 3 games to go......and he will have thursday and friday off this week....... Does he look like he needs a day off? How about waiting until Weds and if we have it clinched then give him the day? 6-11 against Morton (small sample I know)...... -
RR doesn't strike me as the type to have pitchers go on short rest when he has no idea how they will respond to it. No way of knowing if Gallardo or Greinke on 3 days rest would be better then Wolf on 4.

It all depends on how the last 4 days go. If we have home field clinched(or can't get it) by the last game of the year then you skip Yo and pitch him first. If we start on the road then Marcum gets the 2nd game. If its at home then Greinke goes in game 2. If we still need the last game to clinch home field then you have to pitch Yo and Greinke/ Marcum start the first 2.
