Kotsay in center? A huge centerfield and we start a guy who can't cover any ground? Really Ron? http://twitter.com/#!/AdamMcCalvy/status/124209946509328385

" I think the fact that no starter aside from Gallardo has stepped up is what has people worried. " That and the fact that Gallardo has some teams that he has really struggled against and St Louis is one of those teams. We need our starters to step up big and so far in the post season its been Gallardo and the 3 dwarfs. St Louis got on a roll at the right time and shows no signs of slowing down.

I'm not sure RR has the "whole staff" strategy in him. I think he is loyal to a fault. Hope I'm wrong. May not matter.....Cards are so hot right now that it would take Roy Halladay or Cole Hamels to shut them down.

Its not just last night. Marcum has been really bad for over a month now. Gallardo must feel awfully lonely right now. He is the only guy pitching well at the most important time of the year. Unfortunately Cards have really dominated Yo throughout his career so this is put up or shutup time for this rotation. Games 3 and 4 are obviously crucial. Need at least a split or the series is effectively over. http://espn.go.com/blog/s...ewer-rotation-in-trouble

So me and a group of friends decided to rent a party bus for a tailgate at the Rams v. Packers on this coming Sunday. The bus was booked several weeks ago. Now, a conflict has arisen due to our Brewers. We discussed the conflict and have decided that we'll most likely just keep the bus, but have it take us to Miller Park instead of Lambeau. But in that debate, one of my buddies wrote an all-time email, it's based off a monologue that you will all recognize and one which we often cite during our happy hours and golf outings. So here it is. Enjoy: That is the Truth, need to support the Brew Crew. We live in a sports world that needs fan support, and that support has to be provided by men like us. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinburg? We have a great responsibility gentlemen, greater than most people could possibly fathom. You weep for the Diamondbacks, and you curse the Yankees. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. Rooting for the Brewers, while tragic throughout history, probably makes us the best fans in all of MLB. And our existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to our wives, helps win ball games. They want us in that stadium, they need us in that stadium. We use words like team, loyalty, and "zing boom tararrel". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending the 'Crew. Cardinals fans use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to any of you who question the manner in which I provide fan support. For those that want the Packer game, I understand completely, but I will stand with the Brewers on this one. And when they win the World Series, I would appreciate a "thank you." However, if there is no game 6 . . . LETS GO PACKERS!

Xray negative.....still up in the air about availability for tomorrow.

Its real and its spectacular...............

Like somebody said........always go with Vegas........=)

Cardinal fans...all class....or maybe this is Chris Carpenter's alter ego? @scott_chihoops Im going to game 3 and 5 of the NLCS. Hey Nyjer Morgan @TheRealTPlush Can't wait to see you get hit by the first pitch you see Sunday!!!!!

I don't care even a little bit whether the roof is open or closed. Its game 5.......win or go home......are people really going to be complaining about the roof? really?

I'm beginning to get almost Cardinal level dislike for the D-backs.........kind of surprising how quickly it happened.....lol

So...with a day off tomorrow...why didn't we use Saito and Hawkins in the 6th and 7th? I know we were down 4 runs but whats the downside? Keep it as close as you can and see what happens. None of our top guys pitched yesterday and they won't pitch tomorrow. I mean its a long shot but why not?

Way to go Carlos........nice to see him playing well since his return

Hey guys.....look at the bright side.......we get a chance to make history on Friday......... bad starting pitching ....check bad relief pitching....check bad defense....check lack of clutch hitting.......check getting blown out 2 games in a row?....priceless.......

Easter Sunday team streak year was pretty good too now that I think about it..........

giving up 3 home runs in a game(one being a grand slam) makes it kind of hard to....you know........win.....

come on Corey!!

He wasn't trying to give away an out.........................

Wow...so it is possible to have a 1,2,3 inning........imagine that

Rickie has really hurt us in this series

When you are up 2-0 you kind of want to not have to go to the 5th game.......... I think that was a reasonable goal when they left Milwaukee or maybe thats just me.......

@BNightengale Bob Nightengale #mlb #The #Dbacks privately said they couldn't wait to face Wolf today. Now we know why.

Scoring 7 runs in an inning is kind of rare...thats what probabilities are all about.......it can happen....but it almost never does...................

Horrible starting pitching just puts so much pressure on the offense
