  1. We don't get Kendrick again and we do get Hamels and Worley along with Lee and Doc. I doubt we score much but I will be happy to be wrong.
  2. Brewers would have 2 or 3 Home runs if this game was at Miller Park
  3. Our pitchers better bring their good stuff against Philly because we aren't going to score much in that series I'm afraid.
  4. I think the only thing that bothers Yo mentally is that way too many of his pitches end up over the fence.....................
  5. This might be the worse 5,6, 7 lineup in history tonight......especially for a first place team......
  6. Ok guys help me out here. How can we be 100% to make the playoffs when we haven't clinched a playoff birth yet? However unlikely, it is it is still possible for us to miss until our magic number is zero....unless it has something to do with teams chasing us playing each other and being assured of losses but even that wouldn't be enough to assure us of a playoff spot if we lose out as far as I can tell. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/odds/
  7. If Braun does indeed lead the league in hitting, OPS, Runs scored and hits 30 hrs and steals 30 bases, finishes in the top 5 in RBIs and doubles would it be the best offensive season in Brewer history? I guess Fielder's 50 hr year, Yount's first MVP season and Molitors huge year with the hitting streak would all be up there as well but I think I'd take Braun's 2011 over all of them(especially since it came in a year that we won the division title).
  8. Yes Casey came in for defense. You really got to hand it to Wolf. He seems to nibble less on the road. Probably less worried about giving up home runs away from Miller Park. Great win!
  9. Another at bat another line drive for Green.........
  10. No reason to have pulled Marcum at 99 pitches
  11. wow another line drive by Green.......what an impressive start to his career George!!!!!
  12. Honestly I can't remember who it was but I know he did it earlier in the year with somebody. You mean K-Rod after he got injured? If you're referring to someone else I'd imagine he was a much better hitter than Kameron Loe (Gallardo?). I'd usually let Gallardo hit for himself rather than waste a possibly weaker pinch hitter.
  13. Bern...it wouldn't be the first time RR had let a pitcher hit and then replaced him.
  14. His glove looks fine. He has made every play so far.....nothing difficult yet. Platooning Casey with Green is problamatic since Casey has been horrible against lefites all year.
