  1. This is certainly the most expensive "Yi" the Bucks will ever pay for. Hopefully he knows how to pick and, er... roll.
  2. And for kid trying to develop power, Brevard County may not be the best place I'm saying so much developing power right now, but getting stronger. I would think it would be easier to pay more attention in the weight room when you're hitting .300 as opposed to .200.
  3. I live in Minnesota, so I have Comcast. I guess I haven't checked out if they have a free anti-virus program, tho since I'm not the name on the internet bill, they might not give it to me for free anyway. Edit: I restored it to last Tuesday, but my system is still recognizing it as the Cypress whatever. I'm also considering buying a new computer, and am strongly thinking about making the leap to a Mac. I have two big questions about it. First, assuming I can get this external HD working again, I'd still be able to connect to a Mac and access my MP3s, correct? Second, do I remember right that the current Mac OS has a feature where you are able to run Windows programs in a Windows environment? Thanks.
  4. Hey guys- I have a Seagate 250 GB hard drive in a CompUSA HD USB enclosure, and it has all been working perfectly since I bought it a year ago. Then suddenly today, I turned on the HD enclosure and up popped a message that my computer recognizes the thing as a "Cypress AT2LP RC42" USB Composite Device. I have no earthly idea what that is, but it isn't my drive. It has always just popped up as a "USB2.0 Mass Storage Device." I uninstalled the USB Composite Device driver in the Device Manager, but it popped back up again as the Cypress whatever. I have the driver CD for the CompUSA enclosure, but can't get the computer to recognize that driver. What gives? Also, my anti-virus program that I got free through my school is about to run out because I don't go to that school anymore. Can someone recommend a good free anti-virus program? Thanks. 5. Does swapping Errecart and Brantley make too much sense? I know it is only 50 ABs for Brantley, but he isn't hitting. I really think it would help him to feed of off Sally League pitching, and get stronger in the process, readying him for a AA re-debut next season. Like Jim mentioned, Huntsville needs an offensive infusion... Chris Errecart is as likely as anyone on that Brevard roster to give it to them.
  6. I'd be thrilled if the Brewers grabbed Marte. He's one of the guys I've been following all year. There are a number of guys in both the KC and Texas bullpens that could be had. Also, Juan Rincon has had an off year so far, and if Minnesota is out of it by the trade deadline, he could be had.
  7. I'm just glad the All-Star Break will get the rotation back in order. I couldn't even tell you the current order of the rotation. Vargas comes after Sheets? What?
  8. Anything short of the Twins offering Johan Santana for Corey Hart, and you almost have to laugh it off. Corey Hart isn't going anywhere, unless we get a bona fide superstar for him.
  9. I'm sort of shocked this didn't get more national pub. I mean, a good prospect pitching for a really good team pitching a perfect game in AAA? What did it even get in the JS? Three sentences? That's despicable. Caught some of the middle innings, and then switched over to the Brewer game, so I missed the end of it. Of course, Brian and Bill didn't mention it on air so I had no idea until I came back on the site. If they don't mention it on the air tonight during the game, that's as equally ludicrous as the JS snub. With all that out of the way, infinite congrats to my guy Manuel Parra. I've loved this guy since the get-go. Even though shoulder injuries have set him back, I still think he could be a good starter in the bigs. I'm ultra-proud of him. Listening to the end of the game last night on the copy of the radio broadcast Brett made gave me a smile as big as I've had in the past few years. Kudos to Manny Parra, and here's to seeing you in Milwaukee in '07.
  10. ECW is on the Sci-Fi channel at 9 pm central. The whole thing just feels so surreal to me. As many people around the internet have mentioned, Chris Benoit was the very last pro wrestler I would have expected to do this, outside of maybe Mick Foley or Shawn Michaels.
  11. BTW, even if this is a WHOA SOLVDD thread, the same posting rules will still apply, i.e. no getting around cuss filters, making disguised inflammatory comments, etc.
  12. Palsmo cud be 2 catch erz NOW IN Mil.
  13. I'm kind of curious as to what they're going to do on ECW tonight given the details of the Benoit family's tragic end at Chris' hands.
  14. Kristian Bueno era no bueno en su principio. I forgot about Brett Whiteside, but I'm sorta surprised he's still in Arizona. Thought he would have been in Helena. Same with Charlie Iacono... he and Goetz were both left down in Arizona last year, and I thought they would have come up together this year. Iacono must need some major bat work.
  15. mlbcontracts.blogspot.com...ewers.html full no-trade clause, 2007-08 So, no.
  16. Manny Parra continues to pitch a very good ballgame, now through 5 innings.
  17. Joe, if you click on the link directly below the Nashville title on the "follow today's action" post, you'll come to the box score of the game. Then click on Manny Parra's name, and you'll get this: www.minorleaguebaseball.c...pid=448159 This is his second start of the year in AAA. Milb.com makes it really easy to track this stuff, as opposed to previous years when it was all just hunting around, looking for info on team sites, here, or wherever.
  18. An early report suggests that the cause of death was asphyxiation from gas inhalation.
  19. Hardy won't overtake Reyes, but he may have enough votes to make a serious case for being a reserve.
  20. That inside the park home run may have been the best thing to happen to him all year. Thank you, Lew Ford.
  21. I can only hope this has something to do with the McMahon storyline.
  22. There's a pretty sweet picture of Taylor Green batting karate-style on the Milb.com home page right now.
  23. I'm not comfortable with Mench on the team because his presence means Yost will use him in incorrect situations. That's what happens when a guy is proven, gritty and all that. Sure, he kills lefties (or has in the past), but he doesn't walk, isn't anywhere above OK in left and, well, makes a lot of money for it.
  24. Hopefully this'll give Max St. Pierre some room at the end of the bullpen in Helena, too. Kretzschmar throws well - he could be a good relief prospect in no time.
