  1. The guys on FSN Houston pointed out that the Brewers have not won a series in Houston since 1997. Yah, I heard that. Think they would have done something there in the past 10 years.
  2. Russ, you and your stats. You're such a square.
  3. Will that be possible or is it possible the game will be sold out by then? Thanks in adavance. It's awesome that you have to ask that for a May 4th game. Yay for a full Miller Park!
  4. I'd be more than OK with a postponement. Makes the pitching matchups against the 'Stros a lot better as opposed to wasting Sheets against the Cubs.
  5. Agreed, excellent hiding-job with Hart. Even sending him up to pinch hit was pretty good. Winning today would put the Brewers up 7 games on the Cubs. I realize it is April, but that's pretty demoralizing. Edit: And, well, go Cards!
  6. The Brewers are on pace to win 102 games this year. And they need only go 70-73 the rest of the way to end the non-winning streak. Yay!
  7. This AAA Gamecast is pretty funny. According to the graphic, Gallardo hasn't thrown a ball in the strike zone all game, Chris Barnwell hit a HR to short left-center field and Joe Dillion just popped out about 10 rows back on the first base line. Edit: Barnwell just homered again. This time it looks like he hit it at least 290 feet to straightaway LF. Gallardo just lifted for a pinch hitter. Final line: 6 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 K, 93 pitches.
  8. If you're an opposing batter, Robert Hinton owns you.
  9. A Brewer farmhand at # 17 this week, and another makes the "Blast from the Past" category: They also overestimated his age by a few years.
  10. Let's all just have a group hug and toast to blowing the Cubs out of Miller Park South tomorrow.
  11. A manager is just not going to take a guy out with a shutout, up 4 runs. I'm not saying I disagree with you, but just because something is often repeated, does not make it the right thing to do.
  12. Considering we have three days off until June, we need to find a way to not burn Cordero out before the All-Star break.
  13. Sweet baby Jesus, that was ridiculous.
  14. Just want to say that still 18-year-old Venezuelan West Virginia LHP Luis Ramirez is going to be tremendous on a Miller Park mound some day. I so said that last week. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. Geez, Estrada has a HORRIBLE arm. To be fair, Sheets' delivery takes a cab ride before the ball gets to home.
  16. 2 innings, 5 baserunners, 1 run. I know the odds are for us long-term, but it sure is a little frustrating in the short-term.
  17. wow, Braddock!!! wow..wow I was about to say the same thing... 12 K's, 0 BB's? Where did that come from? They'll give Jones at least until July to make it as a starter, IMO. Reliever conversion doesn't take that long, and they can always send him to the AFL for it. Periard now on for the Power. Really like this kid. Has anyone else noticed that ZachJack seems to pitch better if he's nibbling a little bit? He either seems to give up a ton of hits and no walks or 2-3 walks and few hits. Good to see Mike Bell back, as well as Jesse Harper and Vince Perkins back and healthy.
  18. You don't see a three-pitch strikeout where all are called strikes too often.
  19. C'mon, make Albers throw another strike before you swing.
  20. Keep doing that, Albers. That right there.
