  1. A hat trick of homers for McGehee? Better start searching Lake Michigan for the real Casey.
  2. I think I'd rather just go out and beat them. Hmm, yeah. That's an unfortunate spelling mistake.
  3. Have to pound and beat the hell out of the classies tomorrow. Edit: spelling.
  4. That's the free-swinging Corey Patterson we've loved all these years.
  5. The forthcoming suspension for Molina that Bud Selig will issue proves the grand Brewers conspiracy against the Cardinals.
  6. Loe for the 10th with the lefties coming up? Edit: Estrada instead. Looks like Roenicke is looking at splits again.
  7. He really has turned it up a notch this year. Wasn't sure if Axford would be a dominant closer, but that is a term he is clearly on the way to earning.
  8. There are times having a 6'4" 1B would be nice. Great job to get out of the jam by Rodriguez.
  9. Obviously the new guy Hairston didn't know how to properly relay signs to Braun. Would have been a 3-run homer.
  10. T-Plush warming up for the classy gentleman's post-game interview.......
  11. 6th inning question of the game: Who are worse, followers of Izzo or followers of LaRussa?
  12. Broken-bat groundout double play: Greinke must be living right.
  13. Hard to complain about a 5-run inning, but when your 3-5 hitters come up with none out after the runs are scored, I'm looking for a 7-8 run inning.
  14. 17 consecutive scoreless innings for Chicago in the series. Hope Marcum can put up some more goose eggs on the scoreboard tomorrow for a well-deserved sweep.
  15. Cue Doug Melvin as Bob Barker: "And the actual retail price is......."
  16. Eight consecutive shutout innings from the pitching staff. Escaping from a bases-loaded, no out jam. Late game error to make it interesting. One run margin of victory. Just a typical Cubs-Brewers ballgame!
  17. Why try to take third there? I think the team needs to watch those baseball fundamental videos from the 1980s.
  18. Could be. What is worse is that the inning was long with a leadoff home run being the sole tally due to poor baserunning.
  19. Pulling victory from the jaws of the defeat on the road......priceless.
