  1. They can leave a few players in Indianapolis.
  2. Tie game. Gut check time for the offense. Need a touchdown.
  3. Seems like an evergreen comment, season-to-season. Makes one wonder why it doesn’t seem to change.
  4. Traded 7+ minutes of game time for a field goal. Not bad if the offense can get an answer back score here.
  5. Going back up 14 just before halftime feels significant. Keep the Colts from scoring in the first possession of the 2nd Half, and it could be.
  6. Big chance to cash in. And they did!
  7. Need to drop kick field goals. Old-timey football.
  8. Escaped two turnovers so far with no points conceded. A bit of luck.
  9. Big step up by the defense. Trade turnovers.
  10. Ed Sedar will no longer be waving runners home. https://twitter.com/Brewers/status/1324078979700195328
  11. Really good choice, Reilly. I didn’t know how well a prequel to “Morse” would work, but “Endeavour” has been outstanding. Can’t miss watch on my TV schedule whenever the new episodes appear each summer on PBS. Might go back and watch the past episodes on Amazon Prime. Another series that I’ve enjoyed in the modern British mystery genre is “Unforgotten.” Some of the past series are on Amazon Prime also.
  12. 3 NL Central teams down, 1 to go. Time for the Padres to take down the Cardinals.
  13. That’s a very damning statistic, but it summarizes much of the story of the season. Must acquire offense for next season.
  14. I don’t disagree about Peralta’s K rate being a factor. But this would’ve seemed like a situation where you bring in a veteran pitcher who might have a bit of experience loosening up quickly and being called in unexpectedly. Maybe a Yardley to try to get out of the inning, while letting Peralta warm up for an inning and bring him in.
  15. Last game of the regular season is meaningful with a potential postseason berth on the line? Can’t ask for much more on Opening Day or the night before Game 162 (Game 60 this year.)
  16. Excellent start for Woodruff. Get two or three insurance runs and let the bullpen aces have a night off.
  17. Guess Counsell is hoping for a blowout in Game 2. If he ends up mismanaging a bullpen in a doubleheader again....
  18. Burnes doesn’t look right on some of those deliveries.
  19. Lots of bullets dodged. Down 1-0 after all that traffic is a good escape.
  20. Phillies drop two in Washington tonight. Got some help from the Nats.
