I have a buddy that lives in Iowa and he says the pizza at the Casey's gas stations is awesome. I have friends in Iowa and that's what they get when they get pizza. I've had it, and it's pretty good. Good price for already cooked takeout pizza too. I lived in a village of under 600 people in Iowa for four years. At the time, a pizza place other than Casey's was a 15-mile drive to either Godfather's or Breadeaux, not a local independent pizzeria. What Casey's does is good for what it is: a "chain pizza" decently done. Looking for quick road food when traveling through counties with no stoplights in them, there's much worse than what Casey's provides. Out here in Pennsylvania, we have a ton of pizzerias/Italian restaurants, so frozen pizza isn't a big deal. But when that craving does arise, I miss Pasquale's frozen pizza, which is based in Humboldt, IA. The local grocery and convenience stores in Iowa carried their products, which were quite good. Don't know if they make it to Wisconsin; if so, they're worth a try.
