There just might be your NLCS MVP if the Dodgers win. Taylor has been an all around player in this series.
-
Maybe. Maybe not. Will never know. But most would have wanted a better hitter than Schoop facing a pitcher with runners on, throwing out of the stretch in a pressure situation.
-
Buehler’s gone. Need to find the two-out hit to tie the game. Nothing like a rally starting with two outs that scores runs.
-
Double play came in handy. Shortened the inning for Hader.
-
Dodgers had their bullpen up also. Wood was throwing. That would be a very short start for Buehler if Roberts is thinking matchup vs. Shaw and Moustakas in the 4th.
-
Wow. No patience from Yelich there. Surprised a bit.
-
Wouldn't Grandy be the CF if Cain were to get hurt? No Broxton in this series. Yelich would move to CF in that scenario.
-
Perhaps Woodruff is feeling good in the bullpen. Between him and Hader, that has a good chance for 5 or 6 innings. That could also play into going to Hader early.
-
Arcia has been a big hitter this series. Just maybe Schoop can cash in the opportunity.
-
Maybe get Peralta or Guerra up instead? Get two innings from him and then begin the bullpen cycle. Too early for Hader. Bigger goal should be to get the lead back right away.
-
Need to get out of here without any more runs conceded.
-
Bellinger got all of that one.
-
Won the first inning. Eight more to go.
-
YELICH is on the board!
-
Pitchers’ best friend to end Top 1. Nice start.
-
Game 7 at home. Win and the NL Pennant is clinched. It’s what we’ve awaited for decades. Gonna be torture, fun, nerves, all of it. Would love a repeat of tonight’s performance. Jump out to a multi-run lead again tomorrow and bring in the power pitchers.
-
I am getting greedy, but I would like the option of having Burnes (over Soria) for an inning tomorrow. If Woodruff is fully available, it likely wouldn’t matter to have Burnes for Game 7. But I’m feeling greedy also.
-
Good hit by Aguilar. Gone to right for all his hits tonight.
-
Put up a crooked number, offense!
-
If the Dodgers had all of them, no wonder the Brewers couldn’t find the needed lefty reliever to complement Hader.
-
Push across two runs here, and it’s definitely an option.
-
1-2-3 from Burnes. Just what was ordered.
-
Need no walks from Burnes. Make them earn any runners.
-
Need the two-out hit, Domingo. Edit: Or let Grandal fail to block a pitch again!
-
Very good at bat equals another opposite field double.
