I think lots of teams start talking trade now. They see guys they like dropping - and the phone calls start. Makes sense. -
I'm surprised Darrisaw is still there. I never had him on my list as I never expected him to get near us. Packers would almost certainly need to move up past Minny to get him. No way they can let him get past them. He's easily my top choice, but it's probably a bit of a reach. u nailed it.

We're likely to get someone interesting. Everyone has their pet picks - so it's just sort of fun to see who actually gets picked. To me, the biggest 'egad' thing is picking a guy way early who was likely to be there a round later. I think the Packers fell for that last year with Dillon and Deguara. Perhaps the team knew someone else would take those guys - but they seems reaches in the 2nd and 3rd (albeit, late in each round).

You could probably add Darrisaw and Bateman, IMO. I had some mixed feelings about Bateman. I've seen him more mocked in the 2nd round than the 1st.

It's shocking. I was thinking he'd be someone we might consider in the 2nd round. He seems to be a guard in the NFL, not a tackle, but...if it leaves Darrisaw on the board a little longer... I'm surprised Darrisaw is still there. I never had him on my list as I never expected him to get near us.

I've read that he needs to be in the right scheme. But who knows. The size has to scare some teams. Would be a fascinating player.

A few players getting picked that I thought might easily slip below the Packers - Davis, Leatherwood and Toney - specifically. Perhaps we wanted one of those guys, but it only pushes down some other quality guys to us.

It's shocking. I was thinking he'd be someone we might consider in the 2nd round. He seems to be a guard in the NFL, not a tackle, but...if it leaves Darrisaw on the board a little longer... Yep. I think he was mocked late 1st to mid-2nd. But I had seen his name rising a bit in the last week.
