  1. Only issue is that Rodgers will likely have them picking near the end of each round. This year we know the Broncos pick 9th.
  2. Rodgers and Adams to Denver for: 2022 First 2022 Second 2023 First 2023 Second Jeudy I would then try to flip the #9 overall this year to get more future picks. I know the NFL isn't like other leagues but I have no interest being in that just good enough to contend for the playoffs but little chance of winning it all zone. Make sure to have enough on the offensive line to see if Love is the future. If not, use your draft ammo to pick the next guy. Make sure to "re-set" the cap as much next year as well.
  3. I posted one of my rental units. (nice neighborhood but I upped the rent quite a bit) In 24ish hours, I have gotten over 100 messages on it. This is nuts.
  4. Yes, I had the same impression after watching it. I had much higher expectations with all of the stars in it.
  5. Burrow because of his contract
  6. Use a spy on Mahomes Buffalo.
  7. Why? It's a pretty good school.
  8. #Freezingcoldtakes
  9. Losing faith that the NFL isn't scripted after something like that...
  10. If TB is out, I am fine with any of the remaining teams winning the SB.
  11. I'd be surprised if they make a big trade. I am guessing we will run with what we have and make a big trade in season (if needed) or we will sign a guy like Schwarber.
  12. After carefully thinking about this game for a long time, my response is... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  13. Always shop around... always.
  14. Actually, the Packers would be getting fleeced in that scenario. After seeing the Eagles today, you might be right. How about all of their 3 first round draft picks instead of the 2 and first round swap options in 2023, 2024 and 2025?
  15. Bye boredom on here so bare with me. Let's just assume that Rodgers wants out and you can't appease him. I have seen a couple of articles that suggest the Eagles might be a suitor for him. Rodgers and Adams (yes I know he is a free agent but maybe you tag him to make this work) for: Hurts, Smith and their first 2 2022 first round draft picks. Yes that is an extremely steep deal for Philly but this QB draft looks terrible and there are teams that will want a back to back MVP quarterback. For the Pack, they can reset their awful cap for a year and get two bites at young quarterbacks.
  16. I might consider a Houser for Mcneil trade but would probably prefer to keep the pitching depth.
  17. Anyone have an opinion on QYLD? Everything I read seems to be love/hate.
  18. My father has a second house near Phoenix. He can walk to the football stadium. It's not listed, but he's still getting two calls per day to sell at some very high prices. He was really tempted to sell but my brother I think correctly reminded him that since he's set money-wise, what's the point of selling? Unless there's a plan to actually do something with the money to better enjoy retirement, then there's no value to just having more money. My father is a good example of what consistent savings can do for a person. Never made more than $40k/year and the mother only occasionally worked. But the father saved 20-30% of every paycheck and was blessed to only be out of work for six months of his entire career. It meant stretching every penny, certainly. We never went out to eat, etc. But now someone who never made much money never has to ask himself if he can afford anything anymore. If either of them end up needing long-term assisted living we'll actually be able to pay for it. The power of compounding interest is pretty much undefeated.
  19. What sort of real estate? Flipping? Rentals? Side by side duplexes and farm land.
  20. I am pouring some money into the market again. Probably a good time for everyone else to pull theirs as I have had comically bad luck in past attempts. For example, I had a large position in BP right before their oil spill. That led me to just focus on real estate which I have had extremely good luck with. I have a specific set of conditions for my real estate purchases and there is nothing out there right now that fit so back to the market I go. Not to "flex" too much but I could retire today from my real estate income which is pretty good for a dude in his 30s.
  21. I'm fine with the DH now because pitchers are so good and you need 9 guys that have a legitimate chance of hitting.
  22. Happy I have an EV so I don't have to care about gas quality and prices anymore.
  23. Big fan of EVT. Pays ~6.6%, all of it qualified dividends, and has a weak correlation with the market so the price has also appreciated by about the same 6%+ historically. Thanks! I have not come across that one and will take a look.
  24. The only thing that has annoyed me with the announcers is how they haven't highlighted the loss of Jenkins while mentioning all of the other losses. Jenkins is an absolute stud.
