  1. Assuming it was on the table, I would have done the RW trade for Rodgers. Maybe get rid of the 4th round pick, add Jeudy for Adams as well. I am worried this team is going to get very old, very fast with little cap room. This is at least preferable to Rodgers retiring and getting nothing for him.
  2. My guess is a 2nd round pick. I would gladly take that if I were the Packers. I am guessing a 3rd and future late conditional is the top.
  3. If the Packers were to trade Love, what do you think he would get for a draft pick?
  4. I highly doubt this will be a "cap friendly deal" unless that means he will be taking a ton in signing bonus and it will be "cap friendly" for this next season.
  5. I'm a huge fan of adding pitch clocks. It is painfully obvious watching games and seeing guys that throw with max effort stall to catch their breath.
  6. Can't wait to read all of the Luke Kuechly and Brian Urlacher comparisons...
  7. Another solid win by the Bucks
  8. People that take ESA animals out in public/stores and expect everyone else to deal with it. These people are the biggest jerks out there. Actual service animals are a completely different issue obviously.
  9. I'm not selling. I plan on sticking with my plan to dollar cost average.
  10. I would like a job where I can assault a competitor and not lose my job.
  11. I would be all for it IF there was a cap like the NFL or even a loose cap like the NBA. Otherwise all it does is hurt the small market teams even more than now. The NFL has a very loose cap as well.
  12. It's not a big deal in college or lower honestly. In the NBA it would be but they also don't press once the game is over.
  13. Is it really worth taking your time for $2 items? I'd just donate them and use it as a tax write-off.
  14. No need to make things very complicated on a salary floor. They need to do just like what they do in the NBA and distribute anything below the floor to all of the players on the roster. This happened this season with the OKC Thunder.
  15. I think both sides are at fault here as per usual. I am sure the owners have done studies and have found that they will make more money by being hard negotiators versus whatever revenue they lose from fans that leave. One thing I will point out about fan support. There was a lot of chatter about fans leaving the NFL when the players were kneeling. I had a number of friends on social media say they would never watch another NFL game. They have ALL come back..... quietly. Whether baseball has that kind of pull? Who knows.
  16. Soto turns down a 13 year, $350 million dollar extension offer. Yikes
  17. Looking at the makeup of the roster currently, we could "afford" someone that you sit against lefties like Meadows. Cain, Taylor and Renfroe all do well against lhp. I am kind of hoping that Yelich DH's quite a bit to help with his back problems. Having a guy like Meadows would be beneficial. Looking at his contract, he would be a 2 year guy max unless he really improves. I'd probably send a couple of lower level guys their way to make it happen.
  18. Actually hit better at home than away. Sadly the first thing I looked at. He looks like a platoon candidate to me. Career .875 against righties looks cromulent.
  19. Started watching this based on your recommendation. I laugh and watch the intro every time which is pretty rare. I'm having a hard time not seeing Vigilante as Napoleon Dynamite as a Superhero.
  20. I sell a fair amount of things on Facebook Marketplace and it is generally a good/cheap way route to go. I wish they would get rid of the "Is this still available?" button or pre-built send a message text. Tons of people hit it accidentally and it wastes a lot of time.
  21. Yah, he really didn't give much of an effort on defense to stop Kofi. However, every time they did Illinois got a nice jumper for a bucket. Illinois was doing just enough in the mid-range and from beyond the arc, I am not sure it would have mattered much. Personally, when a big guy dominates you like that, you gotta get him on the other end of the court. Try to get him in foul trouble from his defense or try to wear him down. In that aspect, the Badgers just didn't do much if anything at all. I am extremely confident that they would have shot worse on jumpshots versus Kofi layups. Also, you have to switch it up to at least try and keep them off balance.
  22. Gard needs to be more flexible with switching up defenses. You cannot let one guy dominate you like that in college basketball without trying other things. Heck, even Hack a Kofi would have been preferable to him wearing down Crowl and Vogt.
  23. I am surprised that teams offered to pay coaches to lose. If I were an owner and I wanted my team to lose, I would tell the head coach to play the young guys and lose "naturally". If they refused, I would fire them after the season.
  24. I have always called it "Forget You" money because I wouldn't be forced to work unless I wanted to.
