It seems like the really good teams (Indians, Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Astros) have outstanding offensive shortstops. I feel like this is a player we need to get to move us forward. What kind of contract would he realistically be looking at after this season?

I don't have a major problem with Sogard being on the roster. I do have a problem with how much we are paying him.

Why haven't the Orioles traded Machado yet again?

The offense needs to get going to help out the bullpen. There are too many close/low scoring games where starters have to get pulled to try and score some runs. I really like how Counsell doesn't seem to get guys up without putting them in. This will pay dividends later in the season.

Agreed. While it wasn’t like their first, it stands alone. Very, very funny. Happy for those guys to follow up what they did the first time around as they seem like quality guys. A friend saw it today and said it was terrible. I'll see when I get around to watching it in 4 or 5 years. I have probably seen the first Super Troopers 40 times and obviously really liked it. I saw the second one last night and it was really bad; like embarrassing to be watching it bad. If you like corny Canada jokes, you are in luck!

I don't think the Brewers have the money to eat Prado's salary for this year and next. But say they did, as the mock Marlin's representative I'd want something like this: Brewers get: C-J.T. Realmuto, IF-Martin Prado Marlins get: RHP-Luis Ortiz, OF-Corey Ray, RHP-Trey Supak, RHP-Zack Brown Where do I sign?

The good news is that Nottingham looks like he is an MLB quality defensive catcher. (minus anything known on framing)
