  1. Yeah well the details are kinda important on his "potential" trade. What is the player and what are the conditions for it to become a 1st round pick?
  2. The issue with Lamar Jackson is Baltimore can and would likely match the contract offer the Jets would give him. If I were the Jets, I would want to get this done sooner than later even if it means paying a little more than you want to.
  3. Exactly, this guy understands what leverage is.
  4. You guys believe what he says more than I do. He lost credibility with the whole "immunized" thing.
  5. That story doesn't make sense about Rodgers retiring until he heard he was being shopped. He is just trying to make the Packers look like the bad guys which is what he wanted all along.
  6. Yep, I am buying like crazy. This isn't terrible for a guy that's a buy and never sell investor.
  7. "The GM of the Jets, Aaron Rodgers, has agreed to trade Aaron Rodgers to the Jets"- Aaron Rodgers. This is what I expect to hear on that show tomorrow.
  8. I am very curious to see what the comp is for this trade. If we don't get their first this year, I will be disappointed.
  9. Rodgers is negotiating to get "his guys" to come with him.
  10. You didn't watch Zach Wilson attempt to play quarterback if you have no idea why the Jets would want Rodgers.
  11. Came across this, just thought I would share it: https://www.baseballrumors.me/2023/03/mlb-rumors-padres-have-3-brewers.html?fbclid=IwAR3HIkzcZq3y7-8kU21W0vcoBPv_Pl3PBL9lsEGjg2rIOOP4RZt3ee7e7u8
  12. Trade Rodgers and sign Lamar Jackson.
  13. No way they let a player have that much power by threatening to retire. This isn't going to happen anways.
  14. I have to imagine the league would step in if something like that happened.
  15. Yes, I am sure I misread the article and it should be 25 and older.
  16. 62% of people 25 and under do not have a college degree. That is shocking to me as I don't know/hang out with anyone around my age that doesn't have one.
  17. Deathly afraid of milk? Off my draft board.
  18. Love Willy and he is my favorite player on the team. However, unless he takes a discount (and it doesn't sound like he will), you have to trade him. I would rather throw money at Frelick, Chourio, etc to try and get an extra year or two of free agency years out of them. We can really only throw "big" money at one or two guys and unfortunately Yelich was who they made the decision on for one of them.
  19. Cleveland spends even less than we do so no chance they are interested.
  20. I would bet money on seeing Winker in the OF and Frelick not making the OD roster. History tells me so.
  21. Williams, Bush, Milner, Wilson, Houser, Guerra, Payamps, and Varland. This could change if Varland really falls on his face or if they send some cash or a lotto ticket to the Dodgers so we can send Varland to AAA.
  22. I was talking about the bullpen candidates and not Strzelecki himself...
  23. Maybe but the odds of a real injury or some "discomfort" that leads to an IL stint is probably pretty high. These situations usually work themselves out.
  24. Unless there are injuries, the Opening Day bullpen will be all about who has options and who doesn't. I expect Cousins and Strez to be in AAA to start the season. (baring injuries)
  25. The revenue models for journalism have died or are dying. It's hard to complain about all of the free news you get now even if there is a lot of crap out there.
