    Suppan has had a few clunkers this year, but for the most part he has been real solid. He could easily have 6-7 wins, I think.

    Rluz, please don't call for the sweep. This team doesn't need a jinx! I believe that is two straight saves from Torres where he got them out 1-2-3. Did Gagne have a save where he got the opposing team out 1-2-3? I don't recall. It's great to have a three game winning streak, and all that, but can the Brewers give their fans a blow out just once more this season. This season has doubled my collection of gray hairs.

    It's cold in Chicago tonight and Chris Berman won't shut up about it being "Bears" weather. We get it Berman, it's cold. Now crawl back into your cave until football season starts.

    It's a sad commentary on the state of pitching in the Brewers orginization that they have Dave Bush as one of their starters.

    Another thing about this strategy: The Brewers weren't holding the man on first, so as Mota delivered the fateful pitch, the runner on first broke for second and would have arrived easily. After the first pitch, the Nats would have had 2nd and 3rd with one out. I would imagine that Yost would have walked the batter to load the bases to set up a force at every base. So, the pitch that Mota threw was a meaningless pitch. Nice call, Ned.

    To win three straight games in another team's park, a team has to run out three decent starters in a row. Not an easy thing for the Brewers to do.

    Sheets has a .714 OPS for May. I think Yost may have a new batter to use as a pinch hitter! Plus, his .111 batting average this year has to be a career high.

    I think Gagne's injury is in his brain. The man's confidence is probably pretty shaky right now. If someone get's on base, and that happens virtually every time he takes the mound, I would imagine he goes into "here we go again" mode. He needs of string of appearances where he sets down the order 1-2-3.
