  1. How many nice starts are the Brewers bullpen going to blow this year? 40?
  2. Cubs Lose! Cubs Lose! Fukadome meet Mitch Stetter. He looked awful against Fuentes.
  3. I guess Hawpe forgot there was a wall back there.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. It would be nice if Colorado could hold on and win. Any day the Cubs lose is a good day. BTW, what does FTL mean? That's the second time I saw that today.
  5. Hey, cut the guy some slack. That's a long walk for an old man. How did this clown manage this team to the World Series? I guess all the planets must have come into alignment for the Rockies last fall.
  6. Since the Brewers are in the midst of a 4-game stretch against lefthanded starters, Counsell won't be starting over anyone until Sunday. Then you can rotate him. Start at short one day for Hardy, second the next for Weeks, so on and so forth. My vent: Why can't the Rockies team that pummelled the Brewers into submission last year show up once against the Cubs.
  7. I think you may be right. I think Yost needs to save Counsell for as long as possible because he's the only extra infielder they have. Oh, wait, they also have Joe Dill...nevermind.
  8. Lidge has a 0.00 ERA for 9 innings pitched so far. Time to raise that ERA.
  9. Well, holding Philly to one run would have helped the Brewers chances.
  10. agreed. and if we go on to lose this game everyone will remember Riske and forget about the awful at bats with runners in scoring position and the poor baserunning. In the 8th inning of a 1-1 game I think I would bring in a left-hander to face the league's hottest hitter who also happens to be left-handed.
  11. I don't quite think he's garbage. But come on Riske, you get the first two out then walk a guy in front of Utley give up a hit to him and then get two strikes on Burrell and he lines one to left. Jeez. 11 ip, 13 hits, 9 runs. That's borderline garbage.
  12. Yeah. I guess having Shouse ready for Utley made too much sense.
  13. Riske is garbage. Sure glad we have him for 3 years.
  14. It's always smart to walk the guy batting ahead of Utley.
  15. Just hope it doesn't come down to the Rockies needing Corpas to save the game. He trying to outdo Gagne in the blown saves department this year.
  16. Unless there are runners on base, I'd let Suppan pitch the 8th.
  17. Since the bottom of the order is coming up, I would assume he comes out for the seventh.
  18. Another good outing for Suppan. Team just isn't scoring runs for him.
  19. I can't really blame him. Hamels was in cruise control.
  20. Could someone please send Bush a real estate guide for Nashville?
  21. Hamels has settled in. Let's hope the Brewers can find some way to scratch out a run or two soon. Then hope that no one is on base when Utley comes up next.
  22. Bill Hall you kind of suck right now at the plate.
  23. Silver lining: We still have the lead, and we may be able to finish this game off without facing Pujols again.
  24. I guess we can thank Riske for creating this mess.
