  1. I'm guessing she/he was still listed because of being disconnected. Usually when the chat gets big, someone gets disconnected at some point, but their user name stays. When they log back in, it looks like there's two of them in there. Not sure what eventually causes the 'ghost' username to finally leave the room, though.
  2. If only we could play all of our remaining games at home....
  3. Clark was safe there, BTW. Foot touched the plate before the ball touched him. Bad plate blocking.
  4. So is Carlos mailing it in waiting for his trade or what?
  5. Love the lineup, with the exception of Barnwell. Though I imagine Cirillo hasn't played this much everyday since 2003 or so.....
  6. Way to forget how many outs there are. But nice catch.
  7. So Bush is doing what he can to get us to the Geremi Gonzalez experience this evening...
  8. Good grief.... can we just trade Lee so we don't have to watch him fumble around in LF anymore?
  9. Come on cappy, bear down. We need 3 more innings out of you.
  10. Was Gabe Gross a find or what?
  11. Jenkins non-clutch again... Of course Carlos is 0-2 with RISP as well....
  12. Man alive.... that's just dumb, Damian.
  13. Man, Cirillo got hosed by the official scorer. Clayton's only chance was for Weeks the way he played that ball. That should have been a hit. And after further review, the scorer agrees with me. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

  15. What's the MLB curfew? This game will be lucky to be over by 1am local time.....
  16. Wow, late night for the folks in Cincy.
  17. Fan forum... just got it briefly today. I hit back before I could read it closely. Mine wasn't even a log in- got it when I hit my bookmark.
  18. In the Huntsville game, Ryan Braun already 2-for-2 with a home run to center and an RBI double, now hitting safely in 11 straight games -- nice (listening to Brett's call tonight) After a 3 for 4 night, Braun is now hitting .301. So much for adjusting to AA..... EDIT: And of course I forgot to mention Yo with 9k and 5 hits allowed in six scoreless, with only one walk. He actually managed to lower his 0.74 ERA down to 0.59! Good stuff going on down in Huntsville.
  19. Thanks for the info. Not so thankful about the blister....
  20. As Carlos goes, so goes the Brewers. So he must not be going very consistently then, right? You were trying to emphasise his importance, but actually gave him a backhanded insult.
  21. To put Turnbow's problems on the catchers is just ridiculous. Who calls the pitches? When he gets into trouble, the curve disappears. Who's fault is that? Turnbow takes most of the blame, but the catchers have to get him to throw the curve to keep the batters from teeing of on his fastball.
  22. Was he actually throwing the breaking ball, or was it a steady diet of fastballs? It sounded like he was throwing it well early on, and then stopped throwing it after the strikeout. Part of that has to be on the catchers.... make him throw the damn thing even if he shakes you off.
  23. T-Blow........let me introduce you to Doug Henry. Saying it repeatedly doesn't make it any less of a horrible comparison.
