  1. Even if Turnbow gets out of this, he still deserves a blown save. Why? A Texas leaguer and two goofy hits after that are a pretty rough blown save.
  2. You have got to be kidding me...... what a freaking weird 9th inning.
  3. Apparently Durham hacks on 2-0... Thankfully.
  4. Stop being negative guys I haven't really seen any negativity, actually.
  5. Bases loaded for Durham.... What a rough way to get into trouble. Texas leaguer for Bonds, and a goofy bouncer up the middle for a double.
  6. How in the world did neither middle infielder get that ball?
  7. Also, both Gwynn first hits were doubles.
  8. Allright, there's one. Uecker says he's got his best curve working in a while.....
  9. Man alive. What happened to the Turnbow that used to finish hitters when he got two strikes on them?
  10. Sounds like the breaker is working....
  11. I can't imagine they would call ZJ back up and pull Bush out of the rotation to stick him in the pen. Are they skipping him in the rotation this week? As discussed earlier in the thread, this was Bush's day to throw a bullpen session anyway, they're just having him do it in a game situation.
  12. Is there some sort of disease that effects anyone coming out of the bullpen for this team?
  13. Why would we trade Bush? He's been pretty good this season. I'm pretty sure they meant trading for an additional starter, not trading Bush. If they were trading Bush, he wouldn't be pitching at all.
  14. Interesting move, bringing Bush in. Can't say I understand what Ned is thinking. I imagine that this is Bush's bullpen day anyway, so might as well use him to get two outs. That, or we have traded for Maddux and he is starting on Saturday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. We have Rogers in the future. Rogers is way to far from Milwaukee to be counting on him for anything.
  16. Is it just me or is Bill Hall one of the worst baserunners on the team. Maybe I'm only seeing the bad stuff but it seems like he makes a lot of non-productive outs on the paths... There was nothing he could have done about the out he made in the 3rd, FWIW.
  17. We've gotten a lot of help from other teams today, we really can't blow this chance to gain a game on a lot of teams.
  18. Well, the bullpen is turning this into a full-blown mess.
  19. That was a pretty horrible pitch call by Miller, as Alou was clearly sitting fastball, and that was a meatball of a pitch. I thought Miller tagged the runner going by at the plate, FWIW.
  20. Jenkins should have cought that.
  21. Man, do they have this radar gun cranked up or what? If Penny is throwing 99, Turnbow is going to come in and throw like 105.
  22. Last time I checked Ben Sheets was no savior. How often have you checked? As far as going to the bullpen goes, would you honestly bet on them actually getting the job done either? It is kind of sad that we apparently thought the All-Star break started on Friday.
  23. Thanks for updating, Peavey. I wasn't aware of the scratch. No problem.... the news just came across the wire at the top of the hour.
  24. Just when Lee comes back and they're playing better and feeling pretty good about their chances today, Wood is officially out for the year and Prior is scratched. I must say that it IS pretty funny.
