Well, no game gained in the Wild Card, but we managed to gain one on St Louis, pull apart from Houston, and if the Dodgers hang on to their modest lead, jump into a tie with both SF and Colorado in the Wild Card chase. Nice evening.
This game is flying by. It's almost like they know that half the TV's in the state are going to be changing channels in 3 minutes and want to get as much in as possible before they switch. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
It seemed kind of obvious to me that Davis had hit the wall a bit there... and I was only paying partial attention to the game. Ned is like 100 feet away and can't seem to figure it out.
I would Have to think Mark A is there for a reason and he has to highly upset about the way this team had under preformed. Well, I'm sure he is probably pretty unhappy/upset with how the team has performed, but aren't we all? And let's not confuse not performing well with under performing. They are two different things, and I don't think the Brewers are under performing, they're just playing like crap.
Why are they pitching to McCann with first base open? It sure seemed like the reason Maddux went out there was because they were going to pitch around him, and with a hitters count, it looked like Wise screwed up.
No lefty because Wise was supposed to work around him, it seems. Do we have a pitching staff that seems to go to pieces when things go a little wrong or what? But yay for unearned runs. Man alive.
