  1. And in case PeavyFury and Jamie are wondering, Cappy has 8 K's and Robertson has 7. Heh. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  2. Leadoff batter reaches in the 8th on a single. Nice game so far Tim.
  3. Nice grab by Moss in the 7th behind Dillard. Seriously, you might want to check this game out. EDIT: To the 8th we go....
  4. Carlos V hasn't exactly been lights out so far either.
  5. Well, this has all the makings of a game that'll make me want to smash my TV.
  6. Last I checked... that error didn't score a run. If Wise doesn't throw the ball away, the runner couldn't possibly have scored on the Koskie error. And of course if he makes the play cleanly, the tying run never gets on base. So I'm not sure how that error didn't lead to a run scoring.
  7. So it's the bullpen's fault that there were 2 errors in the inning? When one of those errors is on said pitcher out of the bullpen, it's kind of hard to excuse him from fault, isn't it?
  8. Seriously, did we think this one was scheduled for 7 tonight? Yeck.
  9. Holy crap, did we forget that the game was still going on here?
  10. Any pop available, or is it bring your own? Hmm... I assume it's provided as the original post says the only thing you'd have to pay for is parking and stadium food. I assume that if people didn't sign up for beer, that they'd almost have to have soda and/or water provided, as I'm sure there'll be a few under-agers or non drinkers there.
  11. So which Dave Bush are we gonna get today...the second coming of Cy Young or the evil twin of Glendon Rusch? After looking at his home splits/stats, I'm guessing Cy Young.
  12. Jim Powell announced today that Anundsen has signed. Just FYI, brewmann.
  13. If I hear one more Richie weeks I'm going to scream.
  14. The Reds' #4 hitter just bunted. That's because their #4 hitter has no business hitting #4.
  15. I agree our hitters derserve to lose this game But then don't the Reds' hitters deserve to lose this game as well?
  16. That shows how much Gary Thorne is actually paying attention: It takes him a while to realize that Turnbow is, in fact, NOT on and Capellan (who pitched the last inning) is still in.
  17. Fielder's defensive weakness is definitely digging the ball. I think Lyle makes that play, or at least keeps the runner at 1st.
  18. I realize this is 20/20 hindsight, but would anyone have considered a bunt by Hall there with no outs and Fielder on 2nd? Still wouldn't have gotten the run across with two K's behind him. And I'd have a tough time telling Hall to bunt regardless.
  19. I'm not a big fan of this lineup because if we do get runners on vs. a guy with a nasty breaking pitch, there's a good chance both Hall and Jenkins will K. Of course Moeller probably will as well, but that doesn't change based on the pitcher.
  20. The pitch to Koskie was a strike either way, not a bad pitch.
  21. Yet another "Richie Weeks." They sure teach reading well up at the University of Maine.
  22. After 2007, an outfield of Gwynn in left, Krynzel in center, and Corey Hart in right is very possible, I think Gwynn would probably be the most pathetic offensive corner OF in recent MLB history, so that's probably not a good idea. It's either Krynzel or Gwynn in the OF, not both. Cruz will have to factor in somewhere.
