  1. What sense does this substitution make? We put Cirillo in for Koskie, and effectively take our best pinch hitter out of the equation for the pitchers spot in the 9th? Makes no sense to me. I'm 99% sure it was a double switch, so Cirillo DOES hit in the pitchers spot in the 9th.
  2. Taking Shouse out for Wise...I have a bad feeling about this one. Leadoff double.... man alive, what in the world is going on with Wise?
  3. We need the Reds to bring in Coffee before we can score off their pen.
  4. The fix is in! I feel that Polish got the win with a late break and Hot Dog was show boating to much. ? It was the Polish that was show-boating and the Hot Dog that came up from behind for the win...
  5. The same can be said for Jenkins, Miller, Clark. Miller is red hot right now.
  6. Thanks for pulling him after the fact, Ned. He was supposed to pull him before that walk? Who in the bullpen would you rather have in? Did both Capuano and Turnbow pitch themselves out of the All-Star game tonight?
  7. It was the right move. Too bad to see that it backfired this time, and Turnbow seems to be rattled.
  8. Good move going to Turnbow again in the 8th. Hopefully it works out as well as it did in Chicago.
  9. RBI double for Jenks! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif EDIT: Or not. That's a pretty rough error for Hunter.
  10. I think we as fans have a right to complain when we want the team to win and some things just don't make sense. The fact of the matter is that there is no way Jenkins should be hitting in the 3 hole. Who in our lineup is hitting better than him right now? Seems like pretty much EVERYBODY except Carlos is hitting like crap lately.
  11. Umpiring crew had a little too much coffee tonight? Man alive. MLB has to put a stop to this confrontational crap by the umps.
  12. Wow did we get hosed there. Not only was the runner out, but the ump starts to ring him up before calling him safe. Then the jerk is about as confrontational as possible afterwards, knowing he made a big goof and had to defend himself.
  13. As excited as I am about Carlos, this just shows that he's headed to AAA as soon as possible.
  14. MLB pays as much attention to someone running down what happened as I pay attention to fat chicks. ....except when they hold MLB fan sites under a microscope, which they do. Not saying that it'd get the site in trouble, just suggesting that if they were looking for a reason, that'd be something they could use against the site.
  15. Considering that we don't have MLB permission and I'm sure Brian wants to tread as lightly as possible with them, I'd say the recaps are not allowable.
  16. Hey Bernie- Please don't provide play-by-play type stuff in the IGT, per the forum FAQ's: p092.ezboard.com/fbrewers...D=16.topic Thanks much.
  17. Damian Miller might be having a good road trip at the plate, but he sure is calling for some dumb pitches behind it.
  18. Now watch us score 4 in the 9th to lose 6-4. Grr. That doughnut promotion is pretty cool, BTW.
  19. With both Wise and Kolb sucking over the last two weeks, does this make Capellan the 8th inning setup guy for a while?
  20. Dan Kolb doing his best to put this game out of reach. Sigh. Man do I wish I hadn't wasted my afternoon watching this garbage.
  21. Shouse picked a great game to suddenly start sucking again.
  22. Man, sometimes I wish there was a good baseball team that we could actually follow in Wisconsin.
  23. I think with Helling, it's a matter of being eight years too late rather than a few weeks early. Well, when he's still experiencing soreness, I'd argue that he probably shouldn't have been activated and pitching.
  24. The offense sure looks like it's going through the motions today. That's the problem with a loss like last night's. It's not just that they lost, but it also seems to create such a let down that it lasts for a few days after.
