I'm also a PC guy. I've never had any major problems with them, so I never had a reason to switch to a Mac. Like ajgodson said it might be better to have a PC for engineering software. I'm pretty sure Matcad is only available for windows, but there are other programs that probably run on Macs.

Way to go Coco!!! Nice game Crew, and lets go Cardinals!!!

Great at-bat by Braun here. Hopefully it ends well. Edit - Excellent

I know he looked bad tonight, but Turnbow has been much better than Villanueva lately.

    Great job Villy!!!

Tex would probably be a butcher in the OF, but he couldn't be much worse than Mench. Melvin was GM when he was drafted, and he loves bringing guys back from Texas, so I guess there's always a chance he comes here.

sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news...&type=lgns Violating the drug prevention and treatment program. I guess this helps explain his demotion.

I'm still annoyed at Estrada. I'd love it if we could get Salty this off-season and dump Estrada on some unsuspecting team. I can forgive guys who are working hard and slumping, but not trying is unacceptable. As for batting Johnny fifth, he's horrible for that spot, but we really don't have a better option. Braun is the only guy on the team lately whose hitting has warranted batting him fifth, and he's in the third spot already.

I agree with the saving your closer on the road rule. I'd rather have our best reliever on the mound when we have a lead and are trying to win rather than trying not to lose. If we use Cordero and lose the next inning, we've just wasted an inning from our best reliever. Since it looks like we have a good shot at the playoffs, I wouldn't want to overuse Coco now and regret it in October.

Estrada needs to get an earful from his teammates and coach. His play is unacceptable. We don't need lazy veterans like him. Ballfour is just useless. Major league hitters aren't going to chase his junk.

    Thanks Ballfour.

Mench, Boooooooooo!!!! Edit - Well that didn't work.

    Johnny Estrada, professional rally killer.

This is just the break we needed, make them pay.
  15. giffted1
Turnbow is getting the breaking ball over for strikes...I'm not worried.

    Ballgame!!! 3.5 game lead.

I fully expected the Brewers to leave the bases loaded that inning without a run. Maybe the high socks are working.
  18. giffted1
Maybe they read some blog that said the Crew was slumping and they went with it.

    Gwynn and Counsell = Clutch

    Great minds think alike.

Powell mentioned the team had a lengthy staff meeting before the game today, hmmm....

You might be on to something. Three errors in the first inning for the Giants. Wow.
  23. giffted1
I'd like this to be true but highly doubt it. All it takes is for one person to start a rumor like this and its all over the internet and radio. Most on the Reds board seem think its made up as well.

It's an absolute joy to see Cappy to have a good outing. Hopefully there are many more to come.
  25. giffted1
Mench!!! Doing his best Braun impression even if it wasn't officially an error.
