  1. Me too. With the way he pitched last year I never thought he'd regain his control. I'm no longer feel the need to hide my Turnbow bobble-head.
  2. He left with a strained left hamstring.
  3. A hit with a runner in scoring position!!! You can do that??
  4. Lately Aquino and Villanueva are making that decision to send Capellan down look a lot better.
  5. Forget it. He's rolling. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  6. Nice decision by Yost and a good hit by Counsell.
  7. And Carlos walks the bases loaded. Either he really misses Nashville or he wants Capellan back in the majors.
  8. Wow, if Coco and Turnbow can keep this up it's lights out after the seventh.
  9. Gil Meche is pitching like an ace....at least today.
  10. Well it doesn't get much better than this. What a way to start the season. Go Brewers!!!!!
  11. I must say I had my doubts about JJ batting second, but wow, he's changed my mind fast.
  12. Nice job Geoff!!! Brewers breakin it open now.
  13. Another bomb by Dunn, why he's batting second is a mystery.
  14. much better approach by Jenkins
  15. Nice job JJ!!! Lets see if Prince can calm down now.
  16. After a rough spring Geoff is back to mid season form
  17. Ben mows em down 1, 2, 3. Great way to start '07.
  18. I think Ryan's bat will be able to make up for any defensive problems he might have at third. However, if his defense shows no improvement, it makes a lot of sense to move Hall back to third and put Braun in the outfield. It doesn't make sense to keep your best third baseman in the outfield with a questionable defender at third especially if Braun can play in the outfield at least adequately.
  19. I know that when A-Rod played in A-ppleton the team was known as the A-ppleton Foxes. I know David Ortiz also played for the Timber Rattlers.
  20. I don't think they'll be as bad as some people think. Their offense could be decent. An outfield of Kearns, Church, and Snelling has some potential. Zimmerman is/will be a stud and Nick Johnson is underrated putting up a .948 ops last year but is often injured. The word "horrible" is still too good to describe their pitching staff though. I think they could win close to 60 games, but they'll be on the wrong side of a blowout many times.
  21. i can put up with bad defense if he keeps hitting
  22. Braun is slugging a healthy 1.000 with a 1.435 ops. Not too shabby.
  23. Lets see if Carlos Villanueva can pitch well again after another shaky outing by Vargas.
