You cannot sit there and stare in a bases loaded 1 out situation with 2 strikes when you just need to put the ball in play to score a run. Cannot do it. I can live with physical mistakes and striking out but but poor situational decision making drives me nuts.

This is going to be Patrick’s last start in the bigs for awhile, and he’s made it a pretty easy decision.

Agreed. Megill was painting so close to the corners but wasn’t getting the calls. Not that the calls were wrong but given the calls but given the calls up to that point he has reason to believe he could get a few there. Sanchez had such a good AB that I legitimately thought he would homer if Megill didn’t end up walking him. Megill wasn’t efficient but given what Miami was doing that inning I thought he was really, really fortunate to hold them to nothing.

A series that started out looking extremely promising is now looking disappointing.

7 inning doubleheaders were the bomb. I wish they’d make that a regular part of the schedule. Like 7 inning doubleheader every other Saturday, which would also give guys like 13 extra full days off during the season.

Went into Walmart down 2-1 and came back out and were up 6-2. Awesome !

It sucks, but I’d be more upset if it was from chasing a wild pitch and doing that. He got a pitch to hit. Just didn’t do anything with it.

Just absolutely terrible execution by the Brewers this inning. Terrible AB by Ortiz followed by Peralta just straight donating a run by walking Soto and then forgetting about him.

Tying run on 2nd with the game on the line and Bauers and Collins up there just guessing with 2 strikes. Anyone who attended today should be given a full refund.

Man has Conteras ever been just an utter disappointment this year.

Ortiz did not make a good throw, but it’s rarer than a blue moon that you ever see Rhys bail out an infielder with a good pick.

I’m not sure where blowing a 6-0 lead at home to one of the worst teams in baseball history would fall on the embarrassment meter, but it would have to be right up there.

I’m not saying that was an easy play but if you get that much glove on it, you might as well catch it.

Quintana was a nice signing. But he’s just here to help us get by for now. He’s not going to be someone who is on the playoff roster in October.

The elephant in the room is that we need to cap Miz at maybe 130 innings this year. I don’t know what the plan is to do that, but I highly doubt they’re going to push him beyond that. He won’t be available for the playoffs unless we should him down for awhile or move him to the pen.
