  1. Was Lockridge known for good defense when we acquired him? Just doesn’t seem like he always gets great reads.
  2. Nice to tie it up, but been leaving a lot of traffic on the bases lately.
  3. Vaughn has stung a couple balls today and not been rewarded for it.
  4. I remember the big thing about the torpedo bats early in the season. Feels like forever ago.
  5. You don’t know me whatsoever. Don’t go here again. Not cool at all, nothing but personal attacks from you.
  6. Yelich is going to give them 30 HR and 100 dingers this year. That’s a big bat. Not totally sure what Vaughn will give us next year, but if it’s anything close to this year that’s a big bat.
  7. Good job Lockridge not letting them off the hook.
  8. Because I didn’t quote you? I think some references are obvious from context.
  9. Dude has been absolutely raking in August and he goes up and bunts. Come on, man.
  10. Yeah, I did, because it’s stupid and petty. And you’ve beaten it like a dead horse over and over again. It wasn’t a single mention. We get it, you don’t like Adames. I guess you do you and hate on a guy who was nothing but a class act for doing well for himself and taking a job elsewhere.
  11. How bizarrely aggressive. I didn't realize each person needed a specific mention when the crowd has been obvious.
  12. Frelick made an out on the bases in every single game this series.
  13. Day 3 of letting Adames live in the heads of a select few here. I guess I can’t wait for him to leave too just so it stops. It’s bizarre.
  14. Sentimentally, Yelich is not taking off on Bob Uecker day.
  15. I never said otherwise. I just said it was fine if it’s just a day off and a lot less fine if it starts turning into a soft platoon with Vaughn sitting against RHP.
  16. Dude gave us 5 scoreless innings and left the game with a lead. Freddy Peralta would rank dead last on the list of reasons we lost last night. The criticism he got after that outing by some is absolutely wild. Every team in baseball would take 5 scoreless innings out of their starter every single time. You might be less excited about it than you think when he’s pitching elsewhere.
  17. It’s a good bet, but it’s far from a Detroit Tigers sure thing. 6 games can swing in a hurry. I’d feel better if they had taken one more game in Chicago and had the tiebreaker in their advantage.
  18. I know Bauers was obviously fine tonight, but the way this organization seems to treat his roster spot as if he’s a necessary part of the machine kind of makes me chuckle. We went like freaking 30-8 without him, or whatever it was. Clearly he is not quite an integral, crucial fabric in the construction of this team. The irony will not be missed if we go like 12-18 with him back.
  19. I am not going to complain about any pitcher who gives us 5 innings and gives up no runs. Freddy gave us 15 scoreless out. Not his fault we couldn’t give him another 12.
  20. The matchups for this series never looked great. Which was why it was so important to take it yesterday.
