    Wish Miller would have been paying a little more attention, but he was in a tough spot there.

    Brewers lineup has scored 1 run for Villanueva in 15 2/3 this season, a garbage time 9th inning solo shot. They must really not like this guy too much.

    I know it's a small sample size, but is there really a need for Chris Barnwell on this roster? I know we're missing Hardy, but Cirillo can come off the bench and play anywhere in the infield, and Hart can sub in at 1st. Just don't see how this is doing us any good.

    Villy owns Mauer. With my big mouth, he'll probably go 3-5 today with 3 extra basehits.

    Well, he sure LOOKS like a PITCHER at the plate. I'll admit that not a lot is known about Barnwell, but based on that, do you think there is any chance he is a #2 hitter in the Major Leagues? Don't have a problem with Hall getting a day off, but Brady would be preferable in the #2 tonight.

    Jenkins, our big masher, with the same amount of HR's as Gross, who has played sparingly this season. I have to admit I find that quite humorous.

    I too am puzzled about Barnswell batting 2nd. Wish he wasn't starting at all. BTW -- Reds down 5-0 early to the Indians... Fair or not, guys, the rest of the NL Central is falling apart right before our eyes....let's take advantage!!

    Great job Bush and Shouse working out of the leadoff "double". Superb job by Moeller of catching the balls that they throw.

    I had this great dream last night. I took a look at the morning paper and in the sports section, it mentioned that Chad Moeller was DFA'ed. Unfortunately, I woke up and it wasn't true.
