  1. Man, so weird to see Carolina's offense struggling so badly again against the Jags this week. They looked prime to break out last week. I wonder what's different?
  2. Campbell crosses over the line frequently from gutsy to stupid. In no universe should he have still been going for 2 from the 7 yard line after the penalty.
  3. Now the team suspended the head case for this week. https://www.packers.com/news/packers-place-cb-jaire-alexander-on-reserve-suspended-list Fact that they were willing to do this for a game in which they face the top WR in football with their season on the line tells you exactly what the Packers think about Jaire right now.
  4. Pretty sure I didn't say they were the same thing or person. The parallels I was referring to were a young, talented player who seemed rather humble in the early years of their career, eventually getting way too big of a head, and just gradually starting to say and do progressively more bizarre things as time goes on.
  5. I think the worst part is it sounds like from his reaction too that he would go right out and say the exact same thing next week. Didn't seem to have any awareness that he said anything wrong. I'm starting to get to the point of being pretty ready to move on from Jaire. He's starting to make me think of a defensive version of Antonio Brown.
  6. If it's any consolation, at least Barry wasn't the first choice, Jim Leonhard was. Why he pivoted to the most boring and bland hire he could have possibly made after Leonhard turned him down, I'll never know, but at least we know he's capable of going in a completely different direction next time.
  7. St. Brown is a set it and forget it guy. Unless you would have to play him over Tyreek, JJ, or Lamb, ARSB should never even be in a benching discussion, IMO.
  8. I'm sure they are. Any competitive player on offense doesn't want to be producing 3 and outs in the 4th quarter of a big game and I'm sure the guys on offense are more critical of themselves than anyone for it. It just rubs me the wrong way a little for MLF to specifically call them out for it when the problem was glaringly obvious and, IMO, was a clear effort to deflect some of the well deserved continued backlash on Joe Barry. There's an enormous problem and Matt not only isn't doing anything about it but in essence is trying to gaslight us into thinking it isn't there.
  9. Except the difference is that this was supposed to be a developmental year for the offense, and they've showed signs of growth, while the defense has been a heavily invested work in progress for years and yet, led by a buffoon, continues to get worse and worse.
  10. I don't know. Can you imagine if you're an offensive player on the Packers, your defense hasn't done you any favors in a month, you put up 33 points against one of the top defenses in the NFL, you put a game winning drive together with 19 seconds left, and if you had left 20 seconds on the clock your defense STILL would have blown it, to the worst offense in football, and your HC spits out a quote like THAT? I think I'd take that pretty personally.
  11. Hey, not crazy far off.
  12. wHo iS gOiNg tO cOoRdInAtE oUr dEfEnSe tHe rEsT oF tHe yEaR iF wE fIrE jOe bArRy nOw? A toddler. Justin Bieber. A tackling dummy. Literally no one would be a downgrade.
  13. This is freaking hilarious.
  14. Just another bad Matt Lafleur challenge.
  15. Help me understand why Aaron Jones runs up and down the field with ease, we get down to the 6 and then force feed Dillon the next 2 plays.
  16. Barry at halftime: (Tugs on Matt Lafleur's shirt): "Not super awful, right Matt? Matt?"
  17. Lol. Our defense still doing their damndest to make this a game. This literally can't be an easier test for Joe Barry and he's still failing.
  18. There's a sadistic part of me that wants to see us win this game 34-31 with Bryce shredding us for 4 TDs and 300 yards.
  19. I honestly don't even really enjoy baseball anymore and this stuff is the biggest reason why.
  20. I guess if there's any silver lining, it's that Barry's contract is expiring, so basically zero chance of them not moving on. Shouldn't have even needed to come to that, but they can basically just "move on" without firing him. As loyal as MLF has been to him, even he has to understand that it would be utter career suicide to give him a contract extension.
  21. The worst part about the Barry hire is that it was a predictable disaster from the get-go for everyone other than Matt Lafleur. Like to contrast. . Brandon Staley just got fired, and he deserved to get fired ...but I GET that hire. The Chargers thought they were getting an up and coming brilliant defensive mind. Just didn't work out and so you move on. But with Barry...NOTHING about this move ever looked good. It wasn't just a disaster. It was a predictable, avoidable one.
  22. "Did a good job containing their rushing attack" - Matt and Joe, probably
  23. Fire Joe Barry. Like literally, light him on fire.
  24. Joe Barry shouldn't have a job 24 hours from now, but he will.
