  1. I guess we look pretty silly for criticizing the Vikings for trading for Dobbs.
  2. More sweet special teams play getting the next drive started off on the right foot.
  3. Just can't get out of our own way. Again.
  4. It's not *all* his fault obviously but many of the struggles we've had for years are in fact scheme related and he absolutely is to blame as a major part of the problem.
  5. I'm sure Barry will leave no stone unturned to figure out what went wrong today.
  6. Have yourself a drive, Nixon.
  7. I think if they're not sure they err on the side where it can be more easily reversed without a challenge, which IMO is the right process.
  8. I agree. Coming out of his hand I thought there's no way anyone comes down in bounds with that.
  9. Is it really that difficult to keep kickoffs within the field of play? Just can't get out of our own way sometimes.
  10. One thing I'll say about Love is that he looks like a completely different QB when he has protection. I guess you could say that about most QBs. That was a great play on both ends by him and Doubs.
  11. Perhaps our performance against QB Brett Rypien isn't a very good gauge of where the defense is actually at.
  12. Pittsburgh can't do a thing offensively all year. Enter Joe Barry.
  13. I think the Bucks probably regret the Adrian Griffin hire already. He looks in way over his head.
  14. Sounds like the Joe Barry of MLB Managers.
  15. I mean pretty much the whole 2020 Packer draft class sucked. The 2021 class pretty much sucked. It's hard to say he's found much impact in the draft since Gary in 2019. So I don't think that Love is the only reason, and if it is - well, Gutekunst always had a lot of his reputation staked in Love, for better or worse. Many here have said that numerous times. If you trade up in the 1st round to draft your future QB to replace Aaron Rodgers and he spends 3 years in the system and he does not work out for you, that is an enormous reflection on your GM. And I'm not saying he hasn't worked out yet, we still don't know, but if he doesn't? Absolutely, it's a massive hit to Gutekunst's reputation and could cost him his job. I don't think we can pretend otherwise.
  16. That's the thing though. You can't have a 2-3 year learning curve for every single first round prospect. Rookie contracts are just too valuable. So while Gary in a vacuum was a good pick, there does need to be some weight put on the NFL readiness of a rookie.
  17. Why are we seriously not just taking a knee?
  18. Love seeing us incorporate the tush push. If it's legal and works for everyone else, why not us? Love more that we didn't get penalized on that one.
  19. They connected on one!
  20. It's almost painful to watch us win, because I know all that's really happening is Joe Barry has just bought himself a little more time against a JV version of a bad offense.
  21. Just need to give him half or more of his rookie contract before we see any return on investment like most of our 1st rounders.
  22. So in other words, plenty of things we can still do wrong.
  23. Shocked that no one falsely said "ground can't cause a fumble"
  24. The incompetence of this team ...
  25. Same as last week. No functional 2 minute offense. I think they actually managed to run out of 5 minutes of game clock toward the end of the half without getting near the goalline.
