  1. Man...I get that you didn't want to walk away empty handed, but that really hurts to come out of that drive without the TD.
  2. A game in which you need to do everything right to win and so far in the 1st they have: - Kicked the ball off out of bounds - Shanked a FG - Bad miscommunication on a route - Didn't snap the ball when two defenders jumped offsides and took a delay instead - Put the ball on the ground twice Too bad, because they haven't looked overmatched but you have to be cleaner than this to win a game like this ans aside from that Locke has not been good.
  3. Are free throws a technique based, improveable thing? Or are they more of a mental, either you have it or you don't have it thing, or a combination of both? Genuine question just out of curiosity from someone who never really played basketball at any level.
  4. 1) Giannis still cannot hit a FT to save his life. 2) Lillard can, and that was the difference.
  5. So, gotta put this out there. IF Love ain't the guy. If this season doesn't improve and just stays really bad, like top 5 pick bad....you gotta take a QB, right? Who is your can't miss, no brainer future franchise QB? Drake Maye? JJ McCarthy? If Love someone does enough to make him worth doubling down on...I guess you could go with one of the premiere tackles on the board, or of course Marvin Harrison.
  6. Yeah makes sense. Still struggled with the injury but at least more available than not. I must have been thinking of 2021.
  7. Was Bahk healthy last year? I could have sworn it was pretty much another lost year from him but maybe I'm remembering wrong.
  8. Completely deflected and ignored my points but you do you. I'm certainly not the only one in the universe at least questioning whether the organization might be in need of a coaching overhaul from the GM on down.
  9. "Young and inexperienced" can't excuse a 1st half gameplan of 2 yard passes coming out of a bye week and absolutely no ball movement until the second half with no even attempting to go downfield until then. "Young and inexperienced" can't explain the Joe Barry hire. Those things have nothing to do with being young and inexperienced. Those things are on Matt.
  10. I think we need to be open to the possibility that Matt Lafleur is a poor, bottom of the NFL head coach. It was easy to hide his shortcomings and look good when Aaron Rodgers was basically running the offense for him based on experience. Now that he's not, MLF is getting pretty exposed. He doesn't make good coaching hires. He doesn't gameplan well. I get what the Packers were trying to do. They wanted to see if this was a Sean McVay hire. It was not. Lafleur, frankly, looks like a boy amongst men on Sundays.
  11. It's a constant, weekly, recurring, "we'll have to figure out how to fix it" theme. Obviously he isn't the only issue with the team right now, but how can Matt Lafleur not see that his defensive coordinator simply isn't qualified for his position at the NFL level?
  12. I expect the Badgers to lose handily. With that being said. If they actually managed to win, I can see it being a win that we look back on 2 to 3 years from now and see it as the turning point for our program.
  13. What veteran could the Packers trade that would be worth anything that clearly isn't a part of our future? It's a pretty short list, I'm not sure we have anyone of interest. Aaron Jones comes to mind but I doubt anyone gives more than a mid round pick with the hammy problems. Kenny Clark?
  14. MLF postgame: "I need to go back and look at why we are starting so slow on offense." What exactly were you doing during the bye week? Repainting your house?
  15. Not sure how comfortable I am with a walkoff FG attempt from a rookie kicker unless it's a chip shot.
  16. I really feel hardly any emotion as to whether we win this game 20-19 or lose it 19-17.
  17. Why is it such a common sight in the Packers secondary to see 4 or 5 defensive backs fidgeting around pre-snap like they have no idea what is going on?
  18. Pass rush feels like it's been pretty nonexistent.
  19. "He has George Kittle comps", I was told by the most green and gold goggle wearing folks on draft day 2020.
  20. The Packers made a lot of stupid picks in the 2020 draft, and Josiah Deguara may have been at the top of the list. LOL wow. You don't see one guy's drop turn into another guy's TD very often.
  21. To me it didn't look "simultaneous" anyway. I thought Doubs clearly pulled it away for possession.
  22. Nice defensive 3 and out.
  23. Huh? All Love had to do was put it in the corner and Doubs had the secondary beat. It was clearly underthrown and Doubs had to come back and basically snag it as a jump ball.
  24. I don't think there's a coach alive that would go for 2 when an XP makes it. 6 point game late. I thought Denver would have gone for 2 after their last TD.
  25. Doubs just bailed out the hell of Love because that was not a pretty throw.
