  1. It’s always sad when your season is winding to a close. I’ll always still be grateful that our season didn’t end at the hands of the Cubs.
  2. 1.6 runs per game since Game 2 of the NLDS. That will not cut the mustard.
  3. He can ground out weakly just fine without your encouragement.
  4. Be funny if the Dodger players were causing a salary cap for themselves right now in 3 years and they don’t even know it right now.
  5. I dunno. They’ll fight but they are pretty outmanned. I’d like to just not get swept. Make them take it to 5 and at least threaten to take it back to Milwaukee.
  6. 8 innings from both Snell and Yamamoto. I’m not sure the last time we had a pitcher go 8 innings and the Dodgers did it on back to back days. Had to steal yesterday to stay in this. Didn’t do it. Hate to put it on one guy, but Turang had a shot to be a hero and failed miserably on two straight pitches.
  7. That “L” flag celebration at the end of the Cubs’ series was always cringey and looks worse now. My first thought was “this is going to become a talking point and a punchline if we don’t win again this year”, and that looks like that might be exactly what happens. That moment should have been about the Brewers, not the Cubs.
  8. We have 1 run. We scored 1 run yesterday.
  9. Hardly a season to be ashamed of just because it likely ends here.
  10. This is why I said last night that we absolutely had to steal last nights’ game late and how devastating it would be that we didn’t. It wasn’t to be negative. It’s just that we have to get the breaks to win this series. We can’t win without luck.
  11. We haven’t scored more than 3 runs since Game 2 of the NLDS. Freddy is not really the problem.
  12. I don’t think we peaked too soon. We just ran into a true jaggaranaut with big pockets.
  13. I’m really glad we beat the Cubs. I hoped so much this would finally be the year we went to the World Series. It is just not going to happen.
  14. Because you can’t let this game get further away.
  15. Yeah. We are not heading to LA down 2-0 and winning this series.
  16. They still had some of the same major pieces that they have now. It’s not like they were fielding an AAA team in July. In any event, I’m just saying the team needs to have some faith, some confidence that they can make this a series. We can’t just throw up our hands and say they’re too good.
  17. Something big needs to happen to help us remember that we can beat these guys and how we did it 8 times in a row. Right now I think we feel like the Davids to their Goliaths and it’s in our head. They say all the right things, but I don’t know if we believe that we can win.
  18. Drilling the #9 hitter for the top of the Dodger order seems like a bold strategy.
  19. You’re not wrong. Maybe this will be a turning point of some changes to competitive balance rules in MLB.
  20. The Dodgers lineup is loaded from top to bottom. We have Caleb Durbin, Joey Ortiz and Playoff Yeli.
  21. Is the Brewer clubhouse really going to have its morale shaken if Yelich sits the next time he faces Snell? The way he is hitting the ball? I don’t care how long you’ve been here and how much respect you have in the clubhouse. You have to perform to play.
  22. It’s frustrating for sure. We need all the luck we can get to have a shot.
  23. Would be great if Ortiz could somehow get on for the top of the order.
