  1. No one is really “down” on Golden. The truth of the matter is that Jordan Love just might be a mid-tier QB. That isn’t complaining, it’s just entirely possible that he isn’t going to improve his deep ball accuracy enough to take the step to being an elite QB. That doesn’t mean we can’t win a Super Bowl with him and isn’t a knock. Not every QB that comes through Green Bay is going to be a Hall of Famer.
  2. I am not really worried about Golden. He looks skilled. I am just not sure how great of a fit he is in an offense with a QB that is known for deep ball accuracy issues.
  3. Packers allowing only 15.5 PPG and it’s a pretty hollow 15.5 PPG. Lot of garbage time, loose late clock control type defense.
  4. Nice way to finish up definitely. Nice win.
  5. Unfortunately that’s been a criticism of Love for basically his entire career - deep ball accuracy isn’t there.
  6. No, he definitely missed him. He’s on the good, not great tier of QBs until he starts improving his accuracy.
  7. Yeah — but when your QB threw for 300 yards you’d like to think your starting WR that you took in the 1st round would have a notch on the stat sheet.
  8. Hard to complain about much, but pretty disappointed with what we’ve seen from Golden. Invisible in Week 1 and followed it up with a goose egg even with Reed sidelined. Not ideal.
  9. This game isn’t in danger of being lost, but this 4th quarter has been pretty annoying.
  10. Daniels numerous times tonight has looked to run and every time he just gets collapsed on immediately.
  11. For such a dominant performance, there’s a LOT to clean up, particularly with penalties.
  12. I don’t know if their faith in their coverage unit is just completely shot as others said, but they are going to have to figure it out. You can’t just concede a 65 yard field all season.
  13. See now here I would have done exactly what they did and kicked it. Not that they were likely to come back from 2 possessions but 3 makes it pretty much academic.
  14. Finished with 3 points and a 3 possession lead, though.
  15. Love is a good QB. Good enough to win a Super Bowl, with the right supporting cast. But he still misses too many throws to be considered a great QB.
  16. Kicking it into the endzone when touchbacks start at the 35 twice in a game when you almost never used to do it when touchbacks came out to the 25 is… interesting.
  17. I love that when the Commanders finally got something going and we needed to answer, we did so immediately. That’s something we wouldn’t have seen in previous seasons.
  18. Savion looks like he’ll be one of the classic “gadget” guys.
  19. It wasn’t obvious to me at all or I wouldn’t have made the post.
  20. He’s the classic example of a player who feels like he should be better than he is.
  21. That sure seems like the doomsday scenario to think that an offense that has barely moved the ball all game is going to drive 96 yards, get the ball back, and drive all the way down the field again all within 5 minutes.
  22. Still disagree, but I concede it’ll be looking pretty good if they get 3 on this drive.
  23. Go for it and fail and the Commanders may not have even gotten the TD on this next drive. Going 96 yards is a lot different than going 70.
  24. Letting them hang around, hang around, and now here we go, it’s a 1 score game.
  25. Too many soft spots in the zone too quickly.
