  1. Can’t be walking guys to start a game. Not a good way to make your debut.
  2. Bucks mercifully officially eliminated from the playoffs. In a league with such a watered down playoff field, I never imagined that not making the playoffs in the Giannis era was even possible. Yeah, he missed large stretches of the season, but they weren’t particularly good even with him in the lineup. The stretch and waive of Lillard to sign Turner didn’t do anything for the club other than create two new headaches, the overpay for Turner and the dead money of Lillard. Just an absolute organizational failure of a season from top to bottom.
  3. Well they were like a 60 win team last year, so no, I'd say it’s not too early.
  4. How is Turang not a free agent until 2030? Feels like he’s been here forever. I was just thinking that we are going to start having some tough conversations on whether he’s a trade or hold because I don’t see him sticking around after 2029, but it looks like we still have some time to worry about it.
  5. One thing that I love to see out the door is the longtime tradition of big zones on 3-0 counts and tiny zones on 0-2 counts. ABS doesn’t care what the count is.
  6. Lol a guy with 0 major league hits challenges loses by a mile.
  7. For 10 days, I think you just want your best guy.
  8. Wouldn’t it be faster and and less awkward to just fully automate every pitch call?
  9. That is such a big 2 out hit from the MVP of this team.
  10. The 2-2 pitch was definitely a strike. The one he should have challenged was 2-0. That missed, and he would have won.
  11. So 2024 is the last time we haven’t allowed a leadoff HR to start the season? Assuming we did not actually also allow one to start that season, since I haven’t actually looked it up.
  12. If we ever win a World Series, I’m pretty sure that lightning will strike the Commissioner’s Trophy as it is being handed to whoever our best player is at that time, killing said player and destroying our trophy.
  13. The most Wisconsin thing ever to happen would be for the Bucks to somehow hit #1 in the lottery but New Orleans gets like #8. Fun fact: the odds of New Orleans and Milwaukee drawing the #1 and #2 picks, respectively, are approximately 0.39%.
  14. Talent-wise, looks like about an 83 win roster to me. So, 96-66 or so is probably about right.
  15. No dude, it was a fun season, with a bunch of high ranked team upsets along the way. That was kind of the point.
  16. I mean super fun regular seasons that inspire hope followed by massive wet fart choke jobs are kind of a time honored Wisconsin sports tradition. Nothing here we haven’t seen a million times before.
  17. Massively disappointing exit. This team was capable of a deep run, but we all knew the opposite was a possibility. Just didn’t get it done in crunch time.
  18. Overall, I didn’t see anything too egregious for Big 10 teams. A 4 seemed appropriate for Nebraska and a 3 seemed appropriate for Illinois. I thought a 2 was pretty generous for Purdue, but I would have expected us to be a 3 if we had won the tourney and they went into it a bit above us, so I can’t really argue with it.
  19. UW versus High Point. That’s going to be an upset special pick for a lot of brackets.
  20. I’ll say we’re a 4 or 5, doesn’t make a big difference which. I guess I could see a 6. Anything less than that should not happen.
  21. So close. On to selection Sunday.
  22. Now they’ve started falling again in a big way…
  23. It was cool to beat Illinois even when the 3’s weren’t falling. Michigan is just too good to beat when the 3’s aren’t falling.
