    I think we’ve figured out by now that Sanchez is just going to challenge whenever he wants and the team allotment of challenges means nothing to him.

    Tristan Peters hit for the cycle yesterday, was named to the AL All-Star team and has a 3 WAR so far for the White Sox this season. For those who aren’t familiar, we traded him in 2022 for an injured Trevor Rosenthal who never threw a pitch for us.

    Mitchell, Chourio, Lara, Frelick, and Turang all are better options. Really anyone except Ortiz, honestly.

    You can’t lead off a guy who literally cannot even hit a slider. It’s becoming insanity.

    At the end of the day, Murphy doesn’t have the guts to bench Yelich or even move him down in the order until the day comes when Yelich actually approaches him and tells him that he thinks he would be for the best interests of the team.

    I mostly agree with this. I also think it’s really weird to trot your children out on a school night at 10 pm in May to a routine postgame presser for the sole purpose of fidgeting in front of a few hundred thousand television viewers and wondering why they’re there,

    Sproat and Ashby really pulled defeat from the jaws of victory in this one. Most everyone in between did their job, some did not.

    It’s unsurprising to get very little production from the top of the order when you bat one of your worst hitters on top of the order.
