  1. One thing that no one will ever truthfully be able to say about Anthony Seigler is “he just didn’t get enough opportunities.”
  2. I think this is akin to saying momentum and confidence revealing themselves on the field, both in good and bad ways at times, isn’t a thing in professional sports. I can’t buy that that is true either.
  3. If he doesn’t, he’s going to find himself on the bench quickly for Rhys when he returns.
  4. Both teams have gotten some hits today. Both teams have left men on bases today. But one teams’ starting pitcher put 6 men on bases for free today and the other teams’ starter did not. That’s the difference today. That’s it.
  5. Every day I’m not sure how they can have a more frustrating game and every day they seem to find a new way to top the last one in a different way.
  6. Mona at the 9 spot getting some hits would look pretty good if the guys hitting in front of him weren’t punchless.
  7. “Hey, you know that bunting thing that hasn’t worked a single time to get anything going for us during this stretch? Let’s try that again.”
  8. Might be 4 before they even record another hit the way Jose Nibbles is finding the strike zone.
  9. Yeah what a weird thing to say. In a world where everyone argues about everything not once have I heard anyone get up on a soapbox and talk about how the infield fly rule needs to go.
  10. Everybody is tough to get through when you put runners on for free via walk and HBP back to back. If we think this is a tough series, it is not about to get easier.
  11. They have an interesting decision on how they will proceed next year. I certainly imagine Quero has to break ground with the Brewers in 2026 at some point and I’d also imagine that Contreras isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
  12. Part of the 2025 recipe for success is that they’ve entrusted numerous rookies and young players to not only play but to have extremely significant roles on this team. I'm not saying you’re wrong, I’d agree that Jansen almost assuredly isn’t going anywhere. I just don’t think that Quero’s lack of experience necessarily plays any role. I think if he got promoted tomorrow, Murphy probably trusts him early and often.
