  1. They are lucky the Vikings offense is worse than the Packers.
  2. Well put. I think much if the problem is that Star Wars fans feel that every movie needs to be as good as a new hope snd empire simply because it is from the Star Wars universe. Rise of Skywalker was good, not great, but definitely not awful or pathetic. The Palpatine stuff was a bit weird but overall it was fun and entertaining.

  4. Will wait to see the numbers, but I'd rather they just kept Thames. Smoak hit .208 last year
  5. As was Marvin Miller who was also deserving.
  6. Orr getting hurt and the complete lack of offense the 2nd half killed the defense.
  7. In Rosenthal's tweet he said Seattle will be getting at least one minor leaguer in return so I'm not sure why people are speculating Arcia, Peralta or even Burnes. Can they trade Zack Brown prior to rule 5? If so, that is my guess.
  8. Yea that's garbage. The Brewers recalled Shaw in June when Hiura was raking and Shaw was hovering around .200 in his AAA rehab assignment. I'll be interested to see what Shaw eventually signs for.
  9. Domingo Santana was non tendered by the Mariners.
  10. ESPN is now claiming that Grisham was a top 50 prospect entering the 2019 season. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/28176119/source-padres-deal-luis-urias-eric-lauer-brewers-trent-grisham-zach-davies
  11. Coan is horribly inaccurate today. Overthrowing most of his passes.
  12. It is definitely an interesting culture shift as millennials are expected to overtake boomers in number this year. What always fascinated me is how millennials are blamed and even mocked for "destroying" certain industries when in actuality they are either cutting unnecessary expenses due to a tight budget or they just don't value the same things as boomers. Look no further than Harley Davidson. A lot people my age (mid 30s) either can't afford to buy a $20,000 bike to drive only 5 months out of the year or just flat out don't want them, yet boomers liked them so mennials ridiculed.
  13. Luhnow continuing to represent the Astros well. Hope they get swept.
  14. This is where I am. However, I think Moose may end up coming back on another 1-year deal.
  15. I'm nervous about this after seeing what Segura did after we gave up on him.
  16. Absolutely. Rodgers reverted back to holding the ball too long in the 2nd half.
  17. Looks like it will be 5 games in a row that the staters won't go 5 innings.
  18. Get him back on whatever Bosch was supplying him.
  19. And walk under on their own power. Let's not try to read too much into the timing of the announcement.
  20. They have very little cap space so unless he takes a huge discount I consider it unlikely.
  21. Arcia comes to mind, his swing is awful.
  22. Eric Sogard has 10 home runs already this year. He has hit 21 total in his career.
  23. Yes, he followed up that it's a minor league deal.
