  1. Parra goes to DL let him work in AA/AAA on what Peterson recommends. Bush shows up with his job on the line gets #4 spot. Suppan gets 5 spot until shown in Apr/May that he is toast. Last cut before spring between Villenova & Narveson. (Probably trade Villy y I still shake my head at Hawkins signing)
  2. Tells me Suppan has been assured to stink it up for all of April & most of May. Hopefully he'll be skipped early in the year to mitagate the damage to the pen & team. Unless Narverson just comes out with guns a blazing & takes it from him.
  3. f Suppan stinks & Parra can't throw strikes time for Narveson or trade Parra, Suppan & prospect for Meche/
  4. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/85231837.html Well Jeff you don't throw in the low 90's or spot your breaking pitches anymore. Wonder what happens when Peterson starts trying to work with him?
  5. Think I read on rotoworld Soriano's knee is still about 80%
  6. Guessing the Yanks will try to dump Gaudin
  7. Its not all the money . Its having a combo of smart ownership who will let u spend the money on things besides big name players. The Mets could find money for Bay, but nobody else. Astros could find money for Carlos Lee even when he was redundent to them. Instead of spending money their farm system.
  8. Gotta agree with Briggs12. This will be Narversons year to breakout. Hopefully Parra can turn it around or he maybe off to the Royals.
  9. If u dump Suppan then u do.
  10. Would love to see Nippert & Narverson in the 6th & 7th spot in the pen. They could combine for well over 100 inngs of above average pitching in the spot starter/middle relief role.
  11. Not this year. Still on Texas's 40 man. The crew could wait for the DFA but the Nats or Royals would garb him in heartbeat.
  12. He's out of options & the Rangers are out of room. Would be a nice buy-low. Has a big fastball. Control & confidence have always hindered him. Would be a nice arm in spring trainging to take a look at. Might even make Bush expendable.
  13. No, but he's younger cost controlled talent. If Parra was a sure fire frontline guy why would the crew trade him for another one.
  14. I think a platoon of Jonny Gomes & Edmonds or Gerut could make-up for Hart's departure. But like the above poster said Toronto would just say no. More of a Hart & Salome are more of a KC type package anyway. If only the crew had the salary flexibility for Meche
  15. I guess I'm just not seeing it in Hart. I see a stubborness not to make adjustments
  16. Hart not easy enough to replace or Morrow not worth Hart & Salome?
  17. Would Morrow & Marcum be of help to the crew. Anybody the crew can offer to land one of them. I like McGowan but he's never gonna be healthy.
  18. PProbably will get a ruling on Friday. Things may get interesting regarding Hart after this hearing. Just a hunch
  19. Narverson is too valuable as rotation insurance to try & pass thru waivers. If it comes down to Suppan vs Narverson gotta bite the bullett & send Suppan somewhere else.
