  1. Now they are booing Aguilar. Fair weather for the win.
  2. Because he wildly missed his spots on both occasions. I mean, I'm fine with Albers and I agree he just had a bad night but he had a bad night by his own performance, not because the Dodgers did anything spectacular. It's not an either/or choice. You throw two bad pitches to Arcia and Aguilar, you're not giving up two HRs.
  3. Gotta score more than 0 to win. You're correct, but that has nothing to do with the bullpen performance that inning. Yep. Albers had a bad inning through the heart of the best lineup in the league.
  4. Fair weather fans booing Albers. Stay classy.
  5. Thanks! I dove into why those two numbers are so wildly different (bball-ref and stats.nba.com). It looks like bball ref is based on box score stats and tries to estimate "how many points that player would score in 100 posessions", while the NBA numbers are based on how the team actually performs when that guy is on the floor.
  6. They are paying for personal auto insurance. There is no way they are paying for commercial insurance. It's part of these "ride sharing" companies deferring costs onto drivers while removing their own liability. That’s what I thought. So if I’m badly injured as a passenger, can the driver’s insurance company deny me help because I was a commercial passenger? They’d probably tell me to sue the driver. I’m certain Uber and Lyft have found ways to absolve themselves of responsibility in this situation. You, as a rider, would be under Uber's insurance policy (I believe) but the driver would (most likely) not (and most likely, their personal insurance claim would be negated -- as "Driving for hire" is usually banned).
  7. Not sure where you're seeing that, but he's behind all 5 starters and Mirotic. https://stats.nba.com/team/1610612749/players-advanced/?sort=OFF_RATING&dir=1 His Net rating is 4.4 on the season, which puts him at 13th of the guys who played 10+ games this season. If he can start making open 3's, he will have value, but he's still the 5th or 6th wing on the team, who wouldn't see the floor except in blowouts in the playoffs.
  8. Connaughton is a solid player that does pretty much everything well. Looks like we have him under contract (non-guaranteed contract) for next season, but I see no way that it is not picked up since it’s under $2 million. Connaughton fits this team well and is a spark off the bench. He's a try hard. He doesn't do anything well except his off-ball cutting and jumpimg out of the gym. He can't close out under control, he can't keep his guy in front of him defensively, he can't shoot and his handles are suspect at best. He fits, and the team will keep him, but he wouldn't sniff the floor if the Bucks weren't down two wings already in Snell & Brogdon.
  9. I'd still rather have Brinson.
  10. They are paying for personal auto insurance. There is no way they are paying for commercial insurance. It's part of these "ride sharing" companies deferring costs onto drivers while removing their own liability.
  11. I also have always gone through my ticket rep. They've always made it so easy. I find it easier sending a quick email and letting them do it than figure it out on my own. The fact that it's 2019 and MLB is still relying on Flash to power a ton of their fan experience is.... well... laughable. I can't exchange tickets on my phone or my work laptop for this exact reason. Hooray!
  12. I thought coming into this month if they made it out over .500, I'd be happy. Here they are. 10-5, with 16 games left this month.
  13. Also, incredibly disappointing the bar that usually has the sound on for games.... Has Saturday night karaoke.
  14. I had already been in contact with Zak, he said he only did group outings, etc, and that I'd have to talk to the ticket office. I caved and ordered online after waiting another time on hold for 10 minutes, then getting kicked to tickets.com. 4 times total, just got tired of wasting that time. Ordered 4 tickets to the June 22nd game (special ticket package Lorenzo Cain Super hero bobble) and in doing so it cost an extra $19 in fees. ($3 of which was to have the tickets mailed to me...I like hard copies) It is just ridiculous. I called at different times of the day each time, so it wasn't like I was beating a dead horse. Frustrating. At least the Brewers don't go through ticketmaster. My two Bucks playoff tickets, $88 face, plus $29 in fees for each ticket.
  15. Weatherstripping (or replacing the weather stripping) the doors is probably the easiest/best bet for you. Sound travels differently from wind, but they handle the same functionality: Don't let stuff in that you don't want in. Are they sliding doors? https://www.thisoldhouse.com/how-to/how-to-fix-sliding-door
  16. Bucks vs Pistons Schedule: 6pm Sunday @Fiserv 7pm Wednesday @Fiserv 7pm Saturday @Detroit 7pm Monday @Detroit Game 5/6/7: Wednesday/Friday/Sunday, times TBD
  17. No, but they could. I think we're using Midwest values to determine what is prudent and what is excessive. Just because we wouldn't buy such an expensive, flashy car doesn't mean we couldn't. And it doesn't mean he shouldn't. And you're talking about a 75 percent increase over 20 years, while the Brewers have had a 400 percent increase over 14 years. Baseball teams go through cycles where they are competitive and then they're not. The Brewers are at the peak of that cycle. So if they find themselves lacking at a position and have a trade partner with an expensive player coming back, that contract shouldn't be a factor. Here is an actual relevant analogy: You bought a 250K house in 2001. That house is now valued at a cool Million Dollars. You decide to use that million dollars in equity to buy yourself a new Subaru Impreza for $20,000. That is the equivalent statement. This is the type of spending people are advocating for. According to Sportrac they are at a ~125 Million in payroll this season. They were at 110 million in 2012. That's 13% higher this year. Since 2012, MLB has signed a new TV deal for 36% more money and average ticket prices have increased by 9%. There is money if they want to spend it.
  18. Do I have the person scan all six and then all six of us walk in? Yes. This. You just swipe to the next ticket. I know there is a "forward" feature, but I'm guessing that the recipient must also have the app. This is correct as well.
