  1. I mean, that stat is pretty misleading. Hader generally never pitches without a lead, so that number is pretty expected. But I do agree Counsell is generally a good pen manager. Misleading, maybe, but he's had a plan and it's worked perfectly. He was 2nd in WPA/LI last season, JJ was 3rd. He's first this season.
  2. I also don't disagree that they could use another back end arm. But the narrative that they are overusing or misusing Hader is obviously false. They were 48-7 last year in games he pitched and 27-4 so far this year. I'll never question Counsell on his bullpen management.
  3. I'm done here. You're completely fabricating statements to try to further your argument. It was a regular season award. The Bucks improved by 16 games. Toronto by negative 1. Which GM did a better job improving his team during the regular season?
  4. Horst signed Lopez, brought in Budenholzer, Hill and Mirotic. They went from 44 to 60 wins. Toronto went from 59 to 58. But, the Kawhi trade was for postseason and he made a great deal on it for what he gave up. Stole him with eyes on playoffs only, not regular season. Then sat him a ton of games, which hurt the record you bring up. They went 18-4 without Kawhi playing. That's a 67 win pace.
  5. I've been to ten different MLB stadiuims, half have had huge signs, or at least people saying, "Don't go to your seat during an At Bat" or something similar.

  7. I'd recommend Jackson's. It's maybe 2 minutes off the freeway and they have solid food and a decent beer selection and their shuttles don't get overly packed.
  8. Honestly, I think it's because they don't want to mess with the starter warming up. This is just my completely random personal thought on the issue however. It has no basis in real actual knowledge.
  9. When the same guys lead the league in drawing charges (and getting hit by pitches) fairly often, it's most definitely a skill. This just keeps getting worse and worse. It DOESN'T take skill to crowd the plate and lean over the inside corner and not move. It does take skill to beat a guy to a spot on the basketball court. https://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2014/3/6/5475368/is-hbp-pa-a-repeatable-skill-for-teams-or-players-hit-by-pitch-pirates-choo Anyway, I'm done here, this argument is stupid.

    13-0

You're only allowed 3 subs during World Cup games. So, 8 starters played the entire game. Anyway, excited to watch the Ladies on Sunday. Might try to head down to the Deer District if they are putting the game on outside. Looks to be a beautiful day here in MKE.
  11. Stand dead center of the elevator door about an inch from it. It's fun to freak out the people who try to shove their way in immediately.
  12. That list was probably made in 1999. It also doesn't include Arenado and CarGo who just did it in 2015. Now, before them it hadn't happened since 2006, when those two kids from the southside did it (Dye & Thome). Edit: To add a few others: Pujols and Trout as well as Bautista and Donaldson all did it in 2015.

  14. This pretty much sums up 99% of what bugs me. Most of it while driving (please put your phones down people!!), but also just other general, every day, contact with other people. Pedestrian traffic can be just as annoying. Example one: I'm waking down the sidewalk, a group of 2 -4 people walking abreast are walking towards me filling up the entire sidewalk. Somethings gotta give. Many times there is absolutely no effort at all to make room on their part. So, what I do sometimes is just stop in my tracks and make them go around me. Example two: Walking down the sidewalk, and an individual or group of people exit a building without looking to see if someone is about to pass by (me). They just saunter out slowly completely unaware of other human beings. The George Castanza inside of me is screaming "We are living in a society here people!". There are huge spaces where no one walks at Miller Park where you can stand and wait for someone. Instead, people stand and wait exactly where everyone else needs to walk.
  15. Brought my team from work to the game. Got there early to tailgate. Lots are opening a half hour late. I'm annoyed.
  16. Miguel Cabrera has been diagnosed with "Chronic changes in his knee."
  17. These are really what external hard drives are made for You could also transfer from itunes to Google Play if you wanted.
  18. Sounds like stolen property to me.
  19. Pitchers, in general, pick their own music to come out to - the same way hitters pick their own walk up music. Josh could change it anytime he wanted.
  20. Broke one of the longest standing MLB records that day. Joe Adcock's 18 Total bases which had stood for 48 years.
  21. From the last 52 team games last year he hit 21 HRs. Through 49 team games this year he has 19 home runs. That's 40 HRs in 100 team games. That's a 65 HR pace. I would imagine he has a shot at 50
  22. Giannis has been on him almost the entire series. They leave him wide open and switch some actions.
