Well Roenicke's decision to start Marcum was questionable, but starting Weeks is looking smart so far.

I feel really bad for Marcum. He's had an awful postseason and he's going to have to live with that cloud over his head from now on. It's going to be hard for him to recover from this.

Going with flying Craig Counsell today, from Game 5 of the NLDS. -
I'm not ready for the season to end yet. That last game is the hardest one to win. The Brewers will be comfortable, relaxed, and focused tonight. The Brewers will take care of business. And then tomorrow will be one for the ages.

I'm putting Greinke down for 8 2/3 IP tonight since he got 23 outs.

Out of all the infielders on the team, Yuni has the best arm. Too bad he has no lateral motion or he would probably be an above average defender.

We're talking about potentially a must win game. I'll take my chances with Weeks over McGehee or a rookie that may or may not still be on the bench.

Forget the bullpen, he can just use Dotel the rest of the way. Impossible to hit with that corner pitch getting called.

Terrible throw, terrible pick. I have no problem with BA. But I understand the frustration, BA has been with us the whole year and it is hard to hear him get excited for the other team. The pro-Cardinals calls are clearly forced, and that makes me feel better about what his true intentions are.
