  1. Sigh...losing big always stinks, especially to the Cubs. Time to do homework, goodnight!
  2. Also just back from the game... If there was ever a "good" loss, this was it. It looked like the game was over when the Villanueva move backfired. I don't blame Ned for it, but maybe we should swap him with Capellan? Both teams had their chances, but the momentum was in favor of the Brewers at the end, and after Hall was down 2 strikes, he probably should have just tried to move Prince to third and go for the tie. Nice comeback though. Finally, it was quite chilly inside Miller Park. We were in section 230 and there was a cold draft that made it cold, even with our coats on. Still way better than outside though!!!
  3. Hensley is having a great spring: he's 2-0.
  4. Braun's throw today was absolutely horrible. Rottino didn't even try to catch it. There's no doubt that the bat would help. But this is the major leagues. If he makes an error per game, teams could possibly bunt at him in order to make him throw. If we were going to be a 90-loss team, different story. Management clearly made the right move.
  5. Braun reversed the order this time...HR, then E.
  6. Nice to hear Gammons say good things about the Brewers. I liked how he noted that "all 4 teams in the AL Central have a chance at the title."
  7. HR for Braun...again! Correction: that's the Giants game...
  8. I agree that this was a hard game to get into. It was fun watching the first inning and listening to the groans of the Cardinals fans. As much as I love listening to the home fans cheer at Miller Park, nothing beats crushing an opponent and listening to the loud boooos from the opposing fans. I'm excited for some of the other games on the list, although I would have changed many of the earlier selections.
  9. Why was Gross pinch-hitting when he is 0-14 vs. lefties this year?
  10. I'm listening to the Astros/Pirates on MLB radio. Looks like the Pirates are about to win it. Corners, no outs in the bottom of the 18th.
  11. Hit batter!!! That's 15 free baserunners for the Reds, plus 2 errors
  12. There is no rain in the forecast today and there never has been.
  13. Harang is starting to lose it. Comeback time!!! Do I have false optimism...perhaps
  14. Looks like a crowd of at least 35,000 for this game and I will be one of them! Go Brewers!!!
  15. That was an emotional rollercoaster! I'm glad we won, now I can hopefully return to my calmer self before we play for the playoffs in August and September.
  16. 27 pitches in the first inning...but the runs are what matters.
  17. Brewers have the lead 3-1 on doubles by Hart and Miller!!!!! We're going to the World Series for sure!!!!
  18. Jenkins HBP Hall Doubles Fielder up to bat :-)
  19. I have a countdown clock on my desktop... 63 days, 22 hours, 11 minutes, 5 seconds...
  20. The Brewers seem to only win in front of small crowds at home this year. I'll have to look it up.
