FWIW, the Brewers don't normally go above their pool. I'm not sure when the last time they did, so it would be unusual if they do this year. I thought for sure they would have to in order to sign Pratt and Bitonti, but obviously not. So without the overage amount, they currently have $850k to sign 7-10 and the 11-20 players. If you assume $200k-$300k for the 7-10 picks, that leaves $550-$650k for the rest. That's still quite a bit. Historically, the HS we have picked in this range were given a few hundred thousand to $0.5M (Caden Vire). So, signing two more HS players is completely reasonable. Very exciting draft!
