We haven't even started playing the series and we're talking about how bad it would be to lose. I won't say that I wouldn't be disappointed to lose, but we could have lost tonight to the DBacks, and we won, and we could have lost homefield advantage playing the Pirates at the end of the season, and instead we won. Losing is losing no matter what team beats you. It must be different for those of you who experienced 1982, because right now I'm pretty happy to not have to face the Phillies.

Complete game shutout for Carpenter. Another amazing day for baseball as a whole. I'm really excited about facing the Cardinals instead of the Phillies. Home field advantage and storylines galore. And for those of you who are worried about a devastating loss at the hands of the Cardinals: The series hasn't even started yet! Have faith!

This is right. There is now way any shortstop makes that play from where Yuni was positioned. Hairston had the best shot, but that's still asking a lot.
