  1. Yeah, I hate that commercial every time. That play can actually be one of the easiest plays in baseball.
  2. "Lift and separate" Why would you use that to describe Prince's homeruns?
  3. That's the softest and most welcome double Prince will ever hit.
  4. Something is wrong with the tbs pitch tracker. They just replayed one of Yo's pitches and changed where it was located on the tracker.
  5. Justin Upton, have a seat. Huge K for Yo after that borderline ball call to Hill.
  6. The picture quality is really good Way better than Fox or ESPN. Ian Kennedy is not messing around today. I want to say that the Brewers should take more pitches, but they don't really have a choice with the high number of strikes being thrown.
  7. To everyone who is going to the game, have a great time and make a TON of noise for us who can't make it to the game. It only took until game 1 of the playoffs, but people are actually complimenting the lineup. I'll admit that I thought RR might have started McGehee today, so nice work! Get some runs early!!!!
  8. This is slowly becoming more of a reality. I'm reading more and more "playoff prediction" articles and people actually have faith that the Brewers could not only win round 1, but beat the Phillies and make it to the biggest stage. I'm going to spend the next 2 hours before game time reading every possible article on the Brewers. This is exciting stuff!
  9. FYI Sunday's game has been moved to 4:07 CST.
  10. I just tuned in to the Tampa Bay @ Texas game to see Josh Hamilton bunting in the 6th inning down 8-0. I guess things aren't going well for the Rangers.
  11. This was the only thing new that I got out of the documentary. I always knew that Alou acted upset, but I never thought about what might have happened had he not been so upset immediately after the play. If Alou had just walked away casually as if it were completely natural for a fan to grab for a fly ball, then the replay wouldn't have been played over and over again and the game probably would have fallen more on the Cubs as a team, if not Gonzalez. For the record I think Alou would have made the catch.
  12. Don't do that! He might drink it and try and drive a car.
  13. I actually think that Kennedy might be a good matchup for the Brewers. He's a flyball pitcher and we are a homerun hitting team.
  14. So here is how the pitching matchups shape up if you're curious about who's jersey to wear to the game. Saturday: 11:00 AM Ian Kennedy @ Yovani Gallardo Sunday: 8:30 PM Daniel Hudson @ Zack Greinke Tuesday: 9:30 PM Shaun Marcum @ Joe Saunders Wednesday (if necessary): 8:30 PM Randy Wolf @ Josh Collmenter EDIT: Nothing posted above is confirmed except for Gallardo being the game 1 starter and game 1 taking place on Saturday.
  15. I've speculated before that maybe Greinke feels more comfortable pitching at home, it would explain his home/road splits. If that's what he's telling RR and he's comfortable pitching on short rest then he should definitely pitch game 2, but if he's only going to pitch 1 game this series anyway I don't see why he shouldn't pitch on normal rest. EDIT: Also, I'm glad that we all finally agree that we don't know why Greinke pitches better at home than on the road.
  16. Craziest day of baseball in a long time. I want to see the Trop reacting to this scoreboard change.
  17. If (fingers crossed) Atlanta does come to Milwaukee they are probably going to have a pretty stretched out bullpen.
  18. The Phillies probably want their game over as much as the Braves do.
  19. It's a good night to be a baseball fan. After avoiding the collision with the wall, Gomez gets HBP and then hit again on the throw to first and then tumbles into homeplate. So much for playing it safe. Ouch.
