    Do they lose service time? That's the only thing I can think of but I don't fully understand how that all works.

    Brewers rank 23rd in runs scored since July 1, but yes I agree this has not been an all season issue. They just haven't been good for the past month or so.

    5th most runs but I'd love to see where they rank in the last month or two. Seems like there have been a lot of guys struggling for a long time now and it's been painful to watch.

    Made striking out once all week is probably my favorite part of that stat line (other than the HR of course). HIs strikeout rate has really improved from last year.

    I will miss seeing Frias and Ragsdale in the boxscores but I guess that comes with the territory of trade deadline season. Wondering if we'll start to see some '26 draftees make their debuts this week along with some promotions for current guys (Payne to Biloxi).

    What the hell do we do with Yelich and Contreras? Put Yelich on the IL with some phantom injury? Drop Contreras down in the order? I mean, these guys are absolutely killing us right now and have been for awhile. And Chourio isn't much better. What a day.

    Yeah their offense puts ours to shame and they got some nice reinforcements to bolster their pitching staff.

    Cubs extremely active today. Just got Holmes and Taylor from Mets.

    This might be my least favorite Arnold trade yet. Frias AND Ragsdale is a massive overpay.

    A trade with the Cardinals is about the last thing I expected other than trading with the Cubs of course. Both guys are rentals FYI.

    They ended up giving up 70 runs in 6 games this week, which is good for almost 12 runs per game. That's not easy to do.

    I think you can strike a good balance between being stupidly overaggressive like Preller and being ultra conservative like Matt Arnold. That is what I would want in my GM, anyway.
