  1. Two years in a row of doing virtually nothing in the offseason. Of course, it's hard to complain too much because the team has been very good but as a fan, it makes for a very boring period of time. It's easy to forget too that a lot their moves lately have come in-season (Adames, Priester, Vaughn, etc).
  2. Adams missed a ton of games last year due to injury and maybe should at least start the year in AA. I wonder if you flip-flop him and Burke? Burke performed quite well in Biloxi and probably does not need to repeat.
  3. The Mets make a TON of sense here. They have young, controllable MLB-ready starting pitching that the Brewers would desire in a Freddy trade. Also, the Mets have clearly stated that they are NOT going to be signing any free agent pitchers and are only looking to trade for one.
  4. I think we all knew this would be a quiet offseason for the Brewers. Not a ton of holes to fill on the roster and they are coming off an NLCS appearance after winning the most games in MLB. We could still see some moves (trading Freddy, etc) but this is pretty much what I expected.
  5. I don't have his stats in front of me but didn't he have a good showing in his (limited) Brewers debut?
  6. MLB Pipeline Executive poll has Jesus Made as one of the best overall prospects in baseball (of course), but also ranked him as one of the best defensive prospects. Luis Lara, Luis Pena, and Cooper Pratt also received votes in this category. Lara also received votes for breakout prospect of the year (I'm assuming they mean for this upcoming year).
  7. I think we all knew free agency would pretty much be non-existent again for the Brewers but would it kill Arnold to make another trade or two?!? Lets make this offseason a little more interesting! Still time left though.
  8. Is the new ballpark completely done or do they have a little bit left to go? Would love to make the trek down to North Carolina to watch a game this summer!
  9. Maybe it's just me but this video was basically just a bunch of ads.
  10. You know the offseason is slow when we're writing articles about Easton McGee and Brandon Lockridge.
  11. Boston has been quite active this offseason. Glad to see Contreras leave the NL Central.
  12. Freddy for Duran makes way too much sense which means it probably won't happen.
  13. Yes, this please. Getting a legit OF to go with Chourio and Frelick is my biggest wish for the offseason.
  14. Matt Arnold absolutely loves trading for relievers with really iffy numbers. We'll see if this one works out.
  15. If this guy spends any amount of significant time in Milwaukee then that means something horrific happened.
  16. Yeah the last two years of that contract is probably going to look pretty gross for the O’s.
  17. Is there any doubt he'll be the backup catcher on OD? Or does he play a few weeks or so in Nashville first? Just seems like he's been in AAA for years now.
  18. We have absolutely no shot at any of these Japanese players. Just a sad reality.
  19. Agreed. See the Burnes trade.
  20. Let's move on to 2026, guys. Biggest question this offseason will be whether they trade Freddy. If not, they'll have him, Miz, Patrick, Priester, Gasser, and Myers all candidates to start. Am I forgetting anybody? Perhaps they bring back Woody on a one year deal. We know they won't sign anybody else.
  21. That is a super depressing viewpoint but you sadly might be right. We aren't spending in the offseason so we can trade for Shelby freakin Miller at the deadline. Wow.
  22. Yeah this is 1000% on the offense. Historically bad showing.
  23. This is just so lopsided. Really makes you appreciate just how good that 2018 team was.
  24. Like last night, just keep the game close until you can get into the Dodgers bullpen.
  25. I believe Snell is scheduled to pitch game 5. At this rate, we might not have to worry about that.
