  1. Obviously we're not going to manufacture a run with small ball, so let's just hit one out here Prince and get it over with.
  2. Hardy has looked lost all game at the plate. Terrible at-bat.
  3. Yep, great game for Parra. Let's get a run here and get him a win.
  4. This is about the time where Parra falls apart. I don't have a good feeling about this inning.
  5. Wow, I'm glad I got my tickets when I did then. I believe CC is going on the 18th too.
  6. Speaking of somebody who is blocked, how about Steffan Wilson at 3rd base? Just dominating low A ball at 22 years old. He should at least be in BC, but Taylor Green is blocking him.
  7. Manny Parra (9-5, 4.18 ERA, 103 SO) http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2008/05/14/L466SBvM.jpg Previous Starts: DATE OPP RESULT IP H R ER HR BB SO GB FB TBF #Pit Dec. Rel. 8. With Parra's inability to finish games and Bush and Suppan after him, the bullpen will surely be getting some work in the next few games.
  9. I have a good feeling about this one. Sheets is due for a good one tonight. BTW, has anybody else been having trouble getting onto the site the last couple of days? I don't think it's my computer because I don't have trouble with any other websites.

  11. I went to San Francisco last spring break and had a blast. What an awesome city. You can't beat going up to Alaska in late July/early August. Especially if you enjoy fishing and camping (the salmon are running). Anchorage is a very cool city with lots of awesome scenery. Also, the gulf coast (Mobile especially) is a lot of fun.

  14. People who think we admire our homeruns too much, just take a look at the Cubs. Soriano stood at the plate and clapped before he took off for first base. And Len Kasper is the most annoying announcer in baseball history. Kermit the frog anybody?

  16. Jay Bruce continues to be annoying today.

  20. Looks like he's had a pretty decent career so far. Good strikeout totals and seems to have pretty good control. I've never heard of the guy before. Where the heck have I been?
  21. So what's the deal with this guy? I have seen no mention of him on this board and he's not on the power 50. Looking through Huntsville's pitching stats, his numbers caught my eye. 47.1 IP, 59 SO, 21 BB, 3.8 ERA, and just 4 homeruns allowed. Still just 25 years old. Big guy too - 6'5" and 205. Where did he come from and what type of stuff does he have?
